You know that feeling of dread on those mornings when you wake up with heavy emotions, low energy, a schedule FULL of things you both want to do and need to do, and inspiration is so far away it's even hard to imagine you've ever even felt it at all?
I cannot tell you how many mornings I've woken up this way with the ensuing dread and frustration, disappointed that ANOTHER day might pass me by not going after my goals and not enjoying my life the way I wanted to.
I used to believe that the way you wake up is the way you're destined to feel all day long - as if emotions are constants, out of your control, and a gamble - never knowing which one you're going to wake up with.
It wasn't until I started figuring out how to free myself of my inner critic, turning toward myself (rather than beating myself up), did I discover that we have great power in transforming how we feel.
On the morning I recorded this episode, I woke up with those same heavy emotions I used to feel so powerless to, but I did not experience dread. Instead, I used my simple process to transform that energy until I felt how I wanted to. Today, I take you with me on this transformation.
