Today we’re talking about the best selling, soulful, intimate memoir called UNTAMED by Glennon Doyle. We read this at a very fitting time, when the world around us was (and still is) changing before our eyes, where people and society are being pushed to recognize their biases and to consider the bigger picture. This year has been a wake up call and UNTAMED is the catalyst that took us from realizing how our everyday choices and home lives contribute to the bigger picture.
Today Jade’s talking all about all things pregnancy. She talks about how DIFFERENT her second pregnancy is from her first, how she spent the first 16 weeks with her head in the toilet and answering some of the questions you have for her.
We’ve talked about the “having children topic” but when we did our Innie wasn’t actually in that phase of life yet. However it’s become a real thought for her recently and she's nearly there so, it’s time to get down to the nitty gritty. Today we’re dishing the details on our deepest thoughts and the patterns we noticed amongst all three of us in this “just before” phase and we keep it real about this new community of "momming" and how it affects women in every phase of mommy-hood.
It is week nine and we are feeling fine ... lies … no one is feeling fine because we are in quarantine!! Isn’t it funny that literally the word “FINE” is such a lie, no one is ever fine. Today we thought we would air out some of our dirty laundry. Let the cat out of the bag, as far as quarantine secrets go and because we are in such close quarters at home with our loved ones, maybe your secret is already out. You’ll see what we mean when you listen to this episode!
Today we are chatting with Lexi Haslam, the owner of Lexington and Co. Events. This talented girl’s work has been featured in many wedding magazines, websites and you may have even seen her on The Marilyn Dennis show from time to time giving her expert party planning tips! We are now entering “WEDDING SEASON” and with so many parties, showers and yes, weddings being cancelled or postponed we thought it would be a great time to sit down with Lexi and ask all the questions you might have!
It's our birthday and we're in quarantine! This is not the way we planned on celebrating one year of Innie, Outie & In Between but when life gives you lemons ... you should grab the tequila! Join us as we laugh, cry, reminisce and look back at the year that was!
Today we’re talking about pet peeves, you know….those little things we know aren't supposed to matter but also drive you crazy? Ya… those. We're sure you are noticing more things than ever right now … especially being quarantined with your significant other and kids or maybe you haven’t been able to get your brows waxed and all the extra hairs are getting to you. Either way, we are talking about all those little things that just drive us crazy today!
Are we entering week 5 of self-distancing? We can't keep track at this point. An unexpected parent pop in takes Karla out of the second part of this pod. While we are all just staying home and trying to stay sane we talk iced coffee, new binge worthy shows, reminisce about happier times in Hawaii and plan out ways to stay positive through this lockdown.
On today's episode, we're getting into some really fun quizzes because, well, we have nothing else do it. We did 10 silly quizzes and you can do them too. Join us as we figure out what Starbucks drink we are and what type of guy we're attracted to based on the house we would choose!
Today we’re taking it easy from home, I mean who isn’t? So, due to social distancing and because we live nowhere near each other, it’s the curse that splits us apart but the blessing that brings us together. I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder. So, we thought it would be fun to play something we might play on a Saturday night if we could get together with the girls and enjoy some wine and cheese! Oh and we also see who is the best at this whole quarantine thing!
