Life has busy seasons, during which regular time with Jesus is hard to find. Summer is a prime example of a time when we try to manage many things at once, frequently prioritizing the needs of the many over the attention for the One.Shout out to all the LIST MAKERS in the building!

When in a slump, evidence that Jesus is still near and that he hears us can be helpful. Jesus meets us in just the way we need him to and listens to our prayers. In John 20:25, Thomas mentions needing to see the nail marks and touch Jesus’s side in order to fully believe that Jesus is alive. A full week later, Jesus shows up where the disciples are. This time Thomas is present, and Jesus answers Thomas’s request. Thomas wants proof, and Jesus provides it.

When we find ourselves in a slump, needing support to conquer a task or endure a hard season, we canfind help among God’s people. If we ourselves don’t need support at the moment, then let’s look to ourleft and right to see who among us needs the help

Today I want you to figure out if you have heard the voice of God and what you need to do next because it might just be that you need to do one of those three things too. Celebrate with someone, have someone hold you accountable, someone help figure out what to do next.
