Erik Menendez was denied parole at a hearing on Thursday. Erik and his brother Lyle were convicted of murdering their parents in 1989 by shooting them with shotguns while they watched television. Supporters of the brothers say they should be freed because they were sexually abused by their father leading up to the killings. But the prosecution feels they are still not fully remorseful and have not been model prisoners.
