Jim Irsay is impatient.  Chris Ballard is a grinder.  Frank Reich is a loving uncle.  Can they fit as leaders to bring a championship to Indianapolis?  Should the Colts have open tryouts for receivers?  

Not only did IU whiff on McDonald's All Americans, the entire Big 10 did!  None of the nation's best high school seniors pledged the Big 10!  And that is fine!

Jim Irsay says it was "very obvious" the franchise needed to move away from Carson Wentz.  While he is thankful Matt Ryan was available, Irsay says the team nearly dealt for a young quarterback.  

Tarik Glenn will be added to the Colts Ring of Honor, and I volunteer to personally take a crow bar and remove one of the names currently in the Ring of Honor to make room for the big fella!

Colts ranked 14th in NFL, but the areas for growth are obvious and addressable!  The needs are clear, and there is cap space!  Sadly, that cap space will dwindle for 2023, so it's not quite as simple as we would like!  

Indiana Basketball appears to be in a position to hold onto a significant portion of its roster for 2022-2023, and that could mean a leap in class for next season.  Is Trayce Jackson-Davis going to declare for the NBA Draft?  He should to get the feedback that will compel him to stay at IU.  

With every loss, the Pacers prospects for next year and beyond improve, so the loss to the Hawks last night was good for the franchise!

Carson Wentz can be a top 10 quarterback again, said Frank Reich.  Then why did the Colts trade him!  Colts sign John Fox as a senior defensive assistant.    

Indiana Basketball hired Mike Woodson one year ago today!  In year one several boxes were checked, and now the real winning needs to start!  Woodson's grade is a B-.  Would have been a solid B before Dane Fife was unceremoniously fired and plundered.  

Transfer portal should be an escape hatch of last resort, not a spring beach destination as popular as Panama City Beach!

Boilermakers may have given St. Peter's way too much respect tonight as they allowed a 15-seed to move on to the Elite Eight for the first time ever.  The path to Purdue's first Final Four in 42 years seemed secure, but I guess that's why they play the game.  

Big 10's tank is now empty.  Nine teams in the tournament - noe advance to the Elite Eight.

Chris Ballard reportedly has spoken to free agent safety Tyrann Mathieu's agent about a deal to bring the free agent safety to Indy.  That would provide a huge upgrade over a potential void as Julian Blackmon rehabs from Achilles surgery.

Indiana reserve point guard Rob Phinisee enters the transfer portal, so that brings the current total to of potential outgoing Hoosiers to four.  Mike Woodson announced the promotion of recruiting coordinator Brian Walsh to full assistant.

Purdue should beat St. Peter's by 35 tonight.  Peacocks are good enough to play in the championship of the Indiana University Intramural Basketball playoffs, but not nearly good enough to compete with the Boilermakers.

Beloved Indiana alum Michael Lewis has been hired to takeover the Ball State Basketball program, and his first task is to try to keep Peyton Sparks from transferring to IU

Chris Ballard is slow-playing the acquisition of wide receivers, and Colts fans should be very pleased.  The Chiefs overpaid for the mediocrity of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Ballard appears ready to wait for the draft.  As for tight end - I got your tight end!  

Indiana has lost three scholarship players this week, which brings them down to the limit of 13.  Who will Mike Woodson hire to replace Dane Fife?  Two candidates stand out.  

The NCAA needs to eliminate official reviews before they kill college basketball.  

Lance Stephenson went off last night, but the Pacers still lost by 30!  Best of both worlds!

Matt Ryan contract allows Colts to move aggressively to add a wide receiver, tackle, yet another defensive lineman - or sign Quenton Nelson and Yannick Ngakoue to extensions.    

Indiana Athletics may have filled its basketball staff with too many generals and not enough lieutenants when they brought in Mike Woodson, Dane Fife, and Thad Matta.  Clarity is required from leaders, and that needs to extend to Scott Dolson and the university's president.  

Pacers fans have lost their minds as they ride opposing players - and they aren't clever about it either, which is my biggest gripe.
