More akin to the Black Crowes or Drive By Truckers, THe band of Heathens is taking the Americana genre by storm. Austin Texas New band of 2007 have spent eleven straight weeks in the top five on the American Radio Chart. They have recently released their self titled studio album. which not only hit number one but it was only the second time in history that an independant release has hit that spot.

The Grascals have recorded several grammy nominated albums, and have won the prestigious IBMA Entertainer of the year award twice in consecutive years. We caught up with the Grascals at SESAC to see them celebrate the success of their latest number one album "Keep on Walking".

Emerson Drive are working on a new album and other projects to support it. "Belongs To You" is their new music video and first single off the upcoming album; it was co-written by Dave Berg who coincidentally co-wrote the grammy nominated hit "Moments"

She came to Nashville from Wyoming, meeting a founding member of the 70's super group Bread Robb Royer here, who helped give her the extra boost she need to pursue a career in music. Dierks Bentley Planned his 3rd annual Miles and Music For Kids which is a charity motorcycle ride from Cool Springs Tn to the riverfront downtown nashville, followed by an afternoon filled with country artists like Tim McGraw, John Rich, Jamey Johnson to name a few all performing on stage the proceeds of the event go towards Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital.

The Youngers put togethera great first project with Output three years ago. Once they set the bar, they knew they had to do something pretty special to raise it. Todd Bartolo packed up his group from Pennsylvania and brought them to Hendersonville to the Cash Cabin, originally owned by Johnny Cash, now run by his son John Carter Cash so the Cash magic is still there for anyone who records there. The Youngers new album is Heritage.

Hal ketchum first hit the top of the charts in 1991 with his first single Small Town Saturday Night. For his ninth studio album, Hal wanted to go 'Old School' and record the songs from start to finish on just two tracks; with no technical tricks or slicked up tracks, so what you hear is what was played on his new album, Father Time.
