It's not often that a husband and wife can do absolutely everything together...every minute of every day, and still get along just fine.  Keifer and Shawna Thompson's two very different personalities and musical approaches found a perfect match together, both as a married couple and as the hot new duo Thompson Square.  The couple has had success with their recent hit 'Are You Going To Kiss Me Or Not' and are releasing their self-titled debut album this week on Stoney Creek Records.  We caught up with them to talk all about their new music.

When most people think of Nashville, they think of country music.  Fortunately, we do have lots of hot country music coming out of here, but there's a lot more to our Music City.  The 26th annual Stellar Awards showcases the best in gospel music, and is an extremely popular event in Nashville held at the Grand Ole Opry.  Cheryl Jackson headed out to the awards show to catch up with some of the biggest names in Gospel music.

James Cecil Dickens started his music career in the late 1930's, performing on a local radio station while attending West Virginia University.  He left school early to travel the country under the name of Jimmy the Kid.  Finally, in 1948, Roy Acuff heard him and helped him with a record deal and get him into the Grand Ole Opry, where he adopted his current nickname Little Jimmy Dickens.  After performing for decades, Little Jimmy is still as popular as ever.  We caught up with him at a party to celebrate his 90th birthday, as well as a visit to The Palm in Nashville, where he will be forever immortalized.

Teea Goans is not your typical new country artist.  Her love of classic country is reflected in her song choice on her debut disc.  She’s not as into the radio-friendly hits of today as she is the more traditional hits of yesteryear.  Her love of country music took her deep into the archives to find the songs that best fit her for her first project.  You’ll find songs written by legends such as Ernest Tubb, Bill Anderson, Hank Cochran, Willie Nelson, and Merle Haggard on her debut album.  We had a chance to sit down with Teea to talk about her unusual journey into the business.

Lee Brice first made a name for himself here in Nashville as a songwriter.  The last few years he’s really emerged as an incredible artist, as well.  His ‘Love Like Crazy’ single spent 55 weeks on the Billboard charts…more time than any other single since Eddy Arnold’s ‘Bouquet of Roses’ in 1948.  With an accomplishment like that…a celebratory party was in order.

Blake Shelton hit the top of the charts late last summer with ‘All About Tonight.’  The album of the same name was released in August, and the song became Blake’s seventh number one.  We had a chance to catch up with the writers of that hit song at a party to celebrate.

Ken Domash  certainly didn’t set out to become a country artist.  As an architect with his own firm in St. Louis, Ken was quite satisfied with his life until the music bug bit.  Now he’s got a grass-roots campaign to get him on your radio dial by visiting hundreds of radio stations across the country.  We had a chance to catch up with Ken to see how a successful architect transitions to a rising country star.

Film crews were all over Nashville the last year working on a movie starring Gwyneth Paltrow and country star Tim McGraw.  Lots of our Nashville friends are included in this movie, too.  The movie finally opened nationwide this month to great reviews.  We had an opportunity to hear all about the movie from the big stars.
