Country artists are pretty much used to being on stage,

performing their hits for adoring fans. 

However, Country Weekly magazine’s annual fashion show puts stars on a

different kind of stage.  Take a

look.

Bailey, and I’m so glad you joined us for another Inside Music Row.  The 2010 CMA Music Festival is now in

the books, and it looks like very positive news for Nashville.  Many in town were worried that visitors

would stay away due to the May floods, but record numbers of fans turned

out.  Daily attendance at

Riverfront was up almost six and a half percent over 2009, and all four nights

of shows at LP Field were sold out. 

Overall it was very positive news for Music City.  Now the week started off with the City

of Hope Celebrity Softball Game. 

Founded in 1913, City of Hope is the leading research center dedicated

to the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer and other life-threatening

diseases.  For twenty years, the

organization has held the annual fundraising celebrity softball game at Greer

Stadium, so you never know who will show up.  Here’s Kelly.

we met her a few years ago at the Country Radio Seminar.  Whether performing on her own overseas

for the military or with some of today’s biggest stars, Jonalee is truly at

home on stage.  She also hosts her

own web series ‘Long Road To Nashville’ on Yallwire dot com, which has quickly

become one of the most viewed online shows.  We caught up with her at Prime Recording Studios near Berry

Hill for a preview of her new album.

Preston Brust and Chris Lucas have been together as LoCash

Cowboys for years, getting their start performing at Nashville’s Wildhorse

Saloon.  Now on Stroudavarious

Records, the duo is touring like crazy supporting their new summertime

anthem…’Here Comes Summer.’ Preston and Chris put on a truly incredible stage

show, and one you really don’t want to miss.    Here’s

Lady Antebellum has had a stellar

start to their career.  Since we

first met them on the set of a Jim Brickman music video three years ago,

they’ve had a number one album and several number one hits.  Now they’ve hit the top of the charts

with ‘American Honey.’  they’re busy touring with Tim McGraw right now,  but they found some time

off to celebrate with BMI, ASCAP and SESAC to acknowledge the songwriters.

John Adam Murph is no

stranger to the stage.  He began

performing when he was only six years old, winning a talent contest in

Montgomery, Alabama.  As an adult,

after a short stint in the business world, he found himself drawn back to the

stage.  He’s opened for incredible

artists and won fan-voted awards around the country, and he’s now here in

Nashville working with some of Nashville’s top songwriters and performing

around town.  

Blackberry Smoke is a hot southern rock group that is making

a name for themselves across the nation. 

Formed in Atlanta, Georgia, their first success ironically enough came

from up north, but now their popularity is catching on everywhere.  We caught up with the guys at a

showcase here at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge.  Take a look.

Recently engaged Blake Shelton has a lot going on in his

life now, but making time for another number one party is always a good

thing.  His hit with Trace Adkins

‘Hillbilly Bone’ is now Blake’s sixth number one.  ‘Hillbilly Bone’ is Blake’s seventh studio album, and his

second Extended Play disc.  These

shorter CDs give fans an opportunity to get new music more quickly for a better

price.  So for all those BS’er fans

out there, you can look for more new music coming out later this summer. Kelly
