First off congrats to The Brewers for winning their 1st ever World Series!

I'll talk about the Series and will address the comments that Pat Murphy made to Jake Bauers after winning the Series about The Yankees.

Then I'll get into Jorge Posada saying that he doesn't feel "welcome" when he comes to The Stadium. Want my thoughts on that? Want to know what I think the reason is? I'll tell you if you listen to the show.

Let's chat about what Hal, Cash and Boone had to say about the 2026 season.

It's mostly talk about what Hal had to say about the teams offense and where he puts the blame. Oddly enough, it's not on the Front Office. I'll get into that.

I'm also going to talk about the first 2 games of The World Series and why I'm a fan of the baseball that's being played. Will I give my thoughts on the over celebrations that happen early in games? I sure will!

Short answer to the question posed in the title is, yes. They can play with The Rays. Game 1 was not a disaster like people are making it out to be. Clearly The Yankees need to be better offensively but sometimes you have to tip the cap to the opposing pitcher.

We knew this wasn't going to be an easy series.

Let's get into my thoughts on Game 1 and what we need to do in Game 2 (which I like their chances of winning - I explain in the episode).

Had to drop a bonus episode this week due to The Yankees ending Boston's 2026 season with 2 crushing defeats.

How great is it to see Aaron Judge back in The Yankees lineup?? Even crazier is that with Jazz getting hurt, Anthony Volpe is back in the lineup and now playing 2nd.

Let's talk about the impact of having Judge back in the lineup means and let's chat about what Volpe has done since making his return. Both have been positives for our beloved Yankees.

I'll also get into the game between The Yanks and Mets on 9/11, which in my opinion should be an annual thing. I'll talk about the ceremony before the game and the game itself.

The title pretty much says it all. They need to just keep winning games and hope that Tampa goes on a mini losing streak or a prolonged losing streak, either is fine.

Let's talk about Grisham going to the I.L. and "The Martian" getting called back up. Plus I'm pretty sure that we're on the brink of getting Judge back in the lineup.

Yes, there's some stuff to unpack but not too much.

Had to hop in the studio and get some things off my chest about the "catch" or in this case "no catch". Allow me to speak directly to the Red Sox fans that claim that this one play cost them the game. Let's address the lack of offense from Boston. Let's address the fact that Boston gave up on the game. See, none of that is actually being talked about by anyone. They're concerned with the umps ruling and it being upheld by the review. I'll also talk about the lack of professionalism by the Red Sox broadcaster that said that Jazz is busch league and that the Sox should send a message and drill Austin Wells with a pitch.

There are 27 outs for both teams in every game and you have to play them all out.
