The title says it all.
The only thing on my mind as I hit record this week was paying tribute to a man that was a mentor and friend to so many people that I know. I could type the words out here to what I say in the episode but I think it's best if you just hit play and listen. It's raw and real and I will never apologize for those types of episodes.
Goodbye "Shadow" - we love you!
If you can't tell what I'm talking about by the title of the show alone then I can't help you much. For those that might be a little slower than others, I'm going to talk about the good father's that I know. I'm also going to talk about the father's that can't be bothered with their choices in life. The ones that can't show up for their kids because they'll be bored. Enjoy my take on all of that.
On this episode of the show D. Scott talks about the experience he had recording one of his other podcasts live before a WWE show that was happening in his own town. Some of the interactions that they had with "fans" were quite alarming. He also talks about the new Eminem song and the reaction that Eminem fans are having to it. There's other stuff in here as well but why give away all the secrets here? The point is to have you listen to the episode. If you're told everything here, you have no reason to listen.
Enjoy!
No real talk about Memorial Day Weekend in the episode but it just so happens to be released during the holiday weekend so that's what we called it. D. Scott talks about Greyson Murray, the PGA golfer that recently took his own life. D talks about mental health a little bit, especially men's mental health and the importance of getting the help that's needed. He also talks about Azalea Banks talking smack about Eminem, some silly TV shows and "greatest of all time" lists. Round it out with some talk about hip hop legends trying to send messages to the younger generation of rappers and you have yourself another episode of "Inside The Mind of D Scott"
Thanks for checking out the show!
A quick check in to make sure you're all doing well. I get into the DJ gigs that I had this weekend and how much fun they were. I touch on my daughter's birthday... I talk about the new mix DJ that we have on Jamz 96.3 now and what we're doing with the radio station. Give some love to my favorite DJ's that I know and then talk about keeping a positive attitude. It's not always the easiest thing to have so I just want to make sure that you know that as long as your taking steps forward, you're going in the right direction.
Thanks for listening!
It's an episode filled with random thoughts. Oh sure, I shoutout the Moms and talk a little about Mother's Day but then I'm off on a tangent about other stuff. You wanted a look inside my mind...this episode sums that up very well.
Enjoy!
As usual there wasn't much planned coming into this show. I talk about making an appearance on The Colonie Pit which is a YouTube podcast done by a couple of South Colonie legends, John Martinez and Pat Corrano. I also get into the impact that the House of Pain album had on me when I was younger (Jump Around came out 32 years ago today). I get into the Kentucky Derby party that we went to and share some thoughts on that. I wrap it all up talking about my 2 daughters. My relationship I have with both of them and how proud they both make me.
Thank you for spending some time with the show. Please life, share, subscribe, follow and rate the show if you'd be so kind.
This week's episode is focused on being present in your life. Enjoying the moment that you're in at the moment. We get wat too caught up on all the nonsense that we deal with and more times than not we forget to enjoy what we have going on in the moment. So I talk about that along with some other stuff that was on my mind while I was recording the show. From taking pride in your children, being vulnerable, and also MLB umpires (again).
Thank you so much for checking out the show! Please take a minute to share, like, follow, subscribe and rate the podcast. Thank you!
Back at it with another one!
This week we kick the show off with a special shoutout to my friend Joe Trimarchi who's being inducted into the NYS Basketball Hall of Fame! Then I jump into my main topic for the week. MLB umpires and how terrible they are. I'm not sure how some of them still have jobs but listen to the show and you'll hear my thoughts on that.
That's pretty much it. MLB umpires and then I'm done. So thanks for listening!
D. Scott is back from vacation and cleaning out his brain again on the show. From a recap of his vacation, to what's going on with his other podcasts right into speaking his mind about attention seeking people on social media. Those that fish for the compliments or expect praise for being able to overcome an obstacle that they put in their own way.
Thank you for listening to the episode. Feel free to check out some of the others that I have and by all means hit that follow/subscribe on the show. Share it with your people and also please, if you're inclined to, rate the podcast.
