Welcome to the 1st episode of 2024! Just 2 weeks into this new year and things are already off the rails. We have crazy winter weather causing chaos on the NFL and it's Playoff schedule already. Games have been postponed because of snow storms. Not to mention that we already have our 1st great conspiracy theory of the year. After a "brawl" in a Miami mall the internet thinks that it was actually 10 foot aliens walking around. So be prepared for my opinions and thoughts on those subjects. I might touch briefly on a certain "list" that came out as well.
Enjoy!
Thanks for listening!!
Wanted to hop in the studio and wish you all a Merry Christmas really quick. I also wanted to send a message to my Mom on this Christmas Day. So this one is for Anita. I love you.
Thanks for taking the time to listen to my show! On this episode I take some time to reflect on what 2023 was for me. My personal journey navigating through the year. My ups and downs. But if you listen to this episode you'll find out that I spend more time focusing on the ups and not so much on the downs. If you've had a tough year, dealt with difficulty, took a few "L's" then please spend some time with this episode.
Have a wonderful holiday season. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year! I love all of you and I'm blessed for each of you.
Fresh off a trip to Boston for a dance convention/competition, I talk about how proud I am of my youngest daughter and how proud I am of her dance studio. I'll touch on the Yankees landing Juan Soto and Othani going to the Dodgers. I give some quick thoughts on the NBA In Season Tournament as well. Close out with how proud I am of my oldest daughter.

So I sat down in front of the mic again and started talking. I get into a quick recap of my week, including dinner with Tara and going to the U Albany men's hoop game. Then I really lean in to chatting about how the school spirit at my old HS seems to have dipped and how some of the alumni are trying to bring that back. I also get into all the trade talks for Juan Soto and the NY Yankees. I can't say it's a "hot take" that I have but it seems to be a different take than most people seem to have. I'm not going to get into it here, listen to the episode to find out my thoughts on that trade.
Enjoy the show!
Let's talk about Thanksgiving a little bit. Maybe some chatter about talking back to commercials on TV. Mostly, this one is about dealing with those tough days. Those tough times. How do you handle them? As someone that has dealt with some hard times myself, I'll do my best with this episode to give you some insight as to how you can handle them. It's not easy nor is my method fool proof by any stretch. Hopefully some of what I say can help you out or can help out someone you know that's going through it right now.

Fresh off my Friendsgiving weekend I (D. Scott) give you a quick recap of my weekend. From where we were to what we did on our 1st ever Friendsgiving. That pretty much sums up what I talk about in this one. It's quick and easy mostly because I'm tired and need to take a nap.
Hope you enjoy the episode!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
In this episode D. Scott talks about his youngest daughter going viral on TikTok with one of her videos. Then he gets into how he feels about the holidays. How they've become too commercial and what he tries to do when he celebrates with his loved ones. Then he wraps up with a special message to all parents that might listen to the show.
Please feel free to share the podcast with your friends, if you should feel that his message is worthy of it. Also, subscribe/follow and also rate the show.
Thank you!
The title pretty much says it all. I sat down and just gave flowers to those that mean the most to me. Hallock, my daughters, Tara, my family.
I don't think we do it enough in life. We should show love and support to those in our lives that are always there for us. For those that support us and cheer us on. So that's exactly what I did here. I give flowers to a few of the people in my life that mean the most to me. And I throw in a little "Fatherly" advice for my daughters.
Hope you enjoy.
I also hope that what I said in this rambling made sense.
With 8/20 being National Radio Day I thought I'd take you on a quick journey through my career. From my early days when I started over 23 years ago to now. Some of the jobs that I've held along with the people that influenced me throughout my career.
Thank you to all of you that have helped me get to where I am now.
Hope you enjoy the episode!
