As we celebrate 50 years of hip hop I wanted to do an episode and break down my love for the music. How I fell in love with rap and how it has impacted my life. The artists that I grew up listening to and the ones that I loved the most. How Eminem's music helped me and a lot more. I also give some flowers to a few of my radio influences. I hope you enjoy listening to me praise and show love to the music and culture that has had a huge impact on me.
Thank you hip hop!
D. Scott talks about a few events that took place over the past week. From meeting Montell Jordan and Keri Hilson, the US Women's soccer team being eliminated from The World Cup, the fight between the Guardians and White Sox, the dude that was lost at sea in his little row boat and the latest episode of one of his other podcasts. Thank you for listening and hope you enjoy!
Just got back from vacation/dance Nationals....I'll give ya a quick recap of what we did in Ocean City, Maryland. I also talk real quick about adults acting like little children and starting rumors and or telling bold face lies about others.
Thanks for checking out the pod!
The shiny new toy is Threads and that's what we're talking about on this episode. What I like, what I think is silly and other stuff too about the new social media platform. I also get into the stand up comedy show that I just saw and somehow find a way to compare what I do day to day with what stand up comic do. It's a stretch but I think I made my point. Finally, I wrap it up with a quick recap of the Yankees first half of their season.
Thanks for checking out the show!
A quick update on what's going on in D Scott's world both professionally and personally. One big change would be that D is now working for a different radio company/station. Get your update on that and his thoughts on the Perfect Game that German threw for the Yankees this past week. He'll even throw some stats at ya that you might not be aware of that involve Perfect Games thrown by Yankees in the past.
