Bad days happen to us all, but some are worse than others.  When the Tooth Fairy dies it is to be expected for us all at some point. Your phone dying is inevitable due to planned obsolescence, but when it is unexpected it comes at you fast. Sometimes you are better off driving out of town, and riding out the day under a hotel.

Life is short. Some die at the hands of a pencil, while others are mercifully cancelled. Some come back to the living with a whole new voice. Others live a life of mystery, and nobody knows who they are when they die. So while you are here slap a coat of paint on it, and do the best you can with what you've got.  

Now that the holidays are behind us we are slowly getting back into the swing of things, and trying to get back on the right track. This can be as simple as peeling off an old mistake, or as difficult as winning a war with a pencil. Either way we if we can make as much progress as the latest batch of Boston Dynamics robots we should be well on our way.

The New Year is upon us, and not a moment too soon. Not sure if turning over a new day means our fates our now suddenly different, but if Astrology has taught us anything many of us are willing to believe it to be true. So let's hope this year our fortunes are better than those of us driving Ram trucks, or the ones battling with a 10 year old in fantasy football. Happy New Year!

Back for a 5th installment it is the Holiday Drink Challenge, and this may be the closest one yet.  It is also the last episode of one of the most forgettable, and unforgettable, years of all of our lives.  If this was Star Wars it would be the 2nd to last installment, or the 2nd, or possibly in the middle if you count the off shoots.  

This week we are joined by our friends Chris and Sam from the Teach Me Babe podcast.  As is always the case with them we get to learn about some topics previously unknown by the others in the room.  We are also joined by the ever elusive BooBoo Mysterio, or at least get some new clues to his whereabouts.  

This week we are joined by Clare Cunningham to learn a little more about her music, journey, and for one of us, to talk all things Ireland.  We also get some more closure on the Forrest Fenn treasure hunt, and the Yeti bucket challenge.  Cheers

We have come to the end of our mustache growing season, and the results from The Duke are in. We have done some good, and learned a lot during this month of charity and science. In fact we just may keep this train rolling...well the science part, these mustaches have run their course. 

For many people the Weds before Thanksgiving is the storm before the calm, but this year may have been a little different.  Thanksgiving likely was different for many as well, but that doesn't mean we can't look back and find some things to be thankful for. The right perspective can make all of the difference, well that, and a really good bucket. 

Wear a mask; you get $50.  That doesn't work all the time, but if that mask hides a sweet mustache you have a shot. At least a better shot than being born into the Guinness family, and having good luck.  That apparently is harder than eating a ball of wasabi, or getting the Browns to cover the spread.
