Negotiating a good deal can be harder than it looks.  A good deal can be found at Fresh to Frozen, but no negotiating is needed there. When buying things on Craigslist it is important to not show too much of your knowledge because it can be used against you. It is also difficult to get a price down if you have traveled across multiple states to view something.  They know they have got you. Negotiations hinge on a lot of factors, but it always pays to take your shot, at least when it comes to Miley Cyrus. 

What is old is new again.  A new SuperBowl champ is here, but it is the actually the same old champ yet again.  New fashion trends, are really the same stuff that is sitting in old people's closets.  Drumsticks used to be the leg, but now they are the wing.  Truth it is it is the same old story for the chicken.

We lost the most talented member of Saved By The Bell this week.  If you think that doesn't add up wait until you hear what our resident curmudgeon has been up to, and now we find our Denzel Washington played a new character. It has been a week.

You never know when you do something for the last time, but you are aware when it is your first time. Watching Reddit upend the stock market this week was a first, but watching Tony Hawk do a 720 this week may be the last.  I know we are all waiting for the last time we have to wear a mask, but if you are snowboarding it is hard to tell when that will be the last. Life is short that way.

Bad days happen to us all, but some are worse than others.  When the Tooth Fairy dies it is to be expected for us all at some point. Your phone dying is inevitable due to planned obsolescence, but when it is unexpected it comes at you fast. Sometimes you are better off driving out of town, and riding out the day under a hotel.

Life is short. Some die at the hands of a pencil, while others are mercifully cancelled. Some come back to the living with a whole new voice. Others live a life of mystery, and nobody knows who they are when they die. So while you are here slap a coat of paint on it, and do the best you can with what you've got.  

Now that the holidays are behind us we are slowly getting back into the swing of things, and trying to get back on the right track. This can be as simple as peeling off an old mistake, or as difficult as winning a war with a pencil. Either way we if we can make as much progress as the latest batch of Boston Dynamics robots we should be well on our way.

The New Year is upon us, and not a moment too soon. Not sure if turning over a new day means our fates our now suddenly different, but if Astrology has taught us anything many of us are willing to believe it to be true. So let's hope this year our fortunes are better than those of us driving Ram trucks, or the ones battling with a 10 year old in fantasy football. Happy New Year!

Back for a 5th installment it is the Holiday Drink Challenge, and this may be the closest one yet.  It is also the last episode of one of the most forgettable, and unforgettable, years of all of our lives.  If this was Star Wars it would be the 2nd to last installment, or the 2nd, or possibly in the middle if you count the off shoots.  

This week we are joined by our friends Chris and Sam from the Teach Me Babe podcast.  As is always the case with them we get to learn about some topics previously unknown by the others in the room.  We are also joined by the ever elusive BooBoo Mysterio, or at least get some new clues to his whereabouts.
