Ask anyone who builds or creates for a living, and they will tell you that having the right tool for the job will yield better results and make your life much easier.  Whether you are making a fresh pair of Jorts, or working on a car, this advice will always hold true.  We also may have found the right light IPA for the job as well.  So get to work.

This was a week of many  battles, but no wars were won. The great Self Checkout Skirmish, The Washington Trademark Struggle, The Pull a Phone Conflict, The Dot Etiquette Dogfight, and of course the Warrior Nun Encounter.  All had their winners and losers, but the sum of their parts made for a funny episode. 

Summer is officially here, and as if 2020 can't get any worse the word on the street is jorts are the next new hot fashion trend. Time has a way of bringing fashions back, and it turns out equally as good at removing the potency of sunscreen. These together could make for a dangerous combination, almost as bad as Shia Labeouf signing on to be in the John Wayne Bobbitt movie.

For the second week in a row we are feeling the vibe coming out of Cornwall, UK. We learn some valuable lessons about what to do and what not to do when looking to refinance a mortgage, and we get a taste of our own medicine during a virtual beer tasting.  Happy Fourth of July

We have found a new use for hand sanitizer that may very well be more important than its original intended use.  This all depends on your situation, but life saving none the less. We also have found the key to finding off road trails for your 4X4, and by 4X4 we are not talking about your hot pink on pink lifted golf cart with leopard seats. We are channeling our inner hippies and into the wild we go.  A trip down the Appalachian Trail sounds better than ever this week now that you can get paid and drink beer during the journey. Another journey a decade in the making has finally been rewarded, and rewarded handsomely with buried treasure. We also have updates on a bird situation that is progressively getting more dire, but it would have been worse back in the nest. 

All good things must come to an end, and this week's episode was recorded in the wake of the power hour. Good things ending gives us a little hope that these bad things must too come to an end. They have to right? Lord knows we haven't been dancing in the unending joy of 2020, but I will be damned if we don't find a way to rise up out of this miserable start to make this seemingly unrelenting wave of bad finally end. How else can we start the next round of good.  The kind of good that is so damn good that it reminds us that all good things must come to an end. 

It is an old fashioned toe to toe throw-down. Two men enter, and only one man leaves, well that is a bit of an exaggeration, but a good ol' power hour did go down. Terence from Penny Lane Pub was able to knock some of the rust off by pouring 120 mini-beers for our challengers. Apparently there are some side effects associated with a power hour, but we had a buttoned up scoring system to keep things on track. Cheers.

We have a lot of shocked faces in the crowd this week. That may have to do with the fact that in order to make places look full some people are filling the socially distant space with mannequins, or some real looking open mouthed dolls. Some bars are trying distance enforcing tube tables that certainly left us scratching our heads.  We also saw some eye opening numbers from the local ABC stores, as well as some local restaurants, but neither may actually be what they appear.
