Helping your neighbor is beneficial to all parties involved, and this belief is generally accepted as truth. Some people though will actively take advantage of this kindness and make a nuisance of themselves. If Elon Musk has his way and Neuralink becomes a reality it may only be a matter of time before we can hack these societal outliers to fix their glitch.

This week we are visited by a life long entrepreneur and hear about his rise from video games in the garage to how he is changing the game in this gig economy.  It seems not all ideas fostered in the jungle are bad. We also find the fine line between rap lyrics and beer.

The Uber and Lyft battle continues to wage, and until one finds a way to differentiate themselves the first to market advantage will hold. We meet a driver who has an angle to change that. Phones add features to gain an advantage; even if those features may suck the life from your phone. Beers and cereal are merging to create buzz as well, and we taste one of the first to do it.

NetFlix is churning out a lot of movies these days, and while they aren't all great they can still provide entertainment if viewed through the right lens.  We have a pretty good example of this in the new Motley Crue "docudrama" they just released, we just aren't certain it serves as the cautionary tale that it should. Troy on the other hand is doing his part to keep us all safe here in VA, and we have a warning about a prescription drug that was a new one to us.

When you have been doing shows week in and week out you end up with many topics that go unvisited.  Most of the time these fall by the wayside, but this week we decided to give the list of unloved topics their time in the sun.  We tackle the B-Sides; with an A effort of course.

A wager was made, and after many months a wager was lost.  A bad bet can make you want to break something, and these days they have a place where you can do that.  Of course there are other places you aren't allowed to do what you want, like when you want to fill up your own car in Jersey.  It could always be worse though, like if you had to make a decision for someone you haven't even met yet that will affect the rest of their lives.

Is your child a dandelion or an all star? Would you even care what team they ended up on? We know some dads who would. We love a practical joke and pulling one on your wife can be pretty epic, but once you end up in the dog house go ahead and try a Narragansett Lager from upstate NY. Lastly, after you head out to RVA Brunch weekend and fill up on tasty treats while you raise money for a great local charity be sure to check out the greatest local legend in the karaoke scene, DJ Stitch.

Often times when we make changes we experience other changes that were unintended; for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction theory.  Diets are great for the waistline, but can change other parts of your body. Whiskey tastings are great the night of, but can still limit your capabilities the next day. Going cashless can reduce crime, but also hurt your bottom line.  Florida opens pain management clinics all over the state and then you get crazy people flooding in, wait, that one adds up.

World famous is always a bit of a misnomer as very few of us in this world ever experience the same thing.  This is the case with the Peabody Ducks.  While few have seen them, those that have will remember it for sure.  More well known around the world is Bigfoot and Yeti, yet no one has seen these and we still want to believe.  Less world famous, but no less important are the daily heroes that walk among us.  We meet one in an airport who has no cape and is armed only with a beer.

We started a little late this week, which is odd because we were making great time.  In some job interviews being late can't even be held against you even though it should.  Looking like a meth addict is typically held against you in those instances, though so some people have found an interesting loop hole to the dreaded meth teeth.  I'll give you a hint, it has nothing to do with drinking Rose'.
