In this episode, Suze and Jenni explore how we show up in conversations—and how we can do it with more intention, connection, and kindness. Inspired by Safe Conversations, they talk about shifting from criticism to appreciation, and why asking, "Are you available right now?" can change everything.
Whether it's with a partner, friend, or child, this one's all about slowing down, tuning in, and making space for real connection—awkward pauses and all.

You can't just stop a habit… you've gotta swap it!
In this juicy episode, Suze and Jenni take on the familiar cycle of distractions, bad habits, and the secret sauce to real change: Stop and Swap. Whether you're dodging feelings with sugar, TikTok, or tiny bags of chips, this episode is your permission slip to get curious (and compassionate) about what's really going on under the surface.
Whether you're working on drinking less, cleaning more, or just trying to swap doomscrolling for something less... doomy, Suze and Jenni offer a thoughtful, laugh-filled take on how to rewire your habits without self-shame.
Because this isn't about being perfect—it's about progress, plans, and a pocketful of nuts.

Ever found yourself scrubbing the grout, binge-watching a baking show, or deep into a phone game instead of… feeling your feelings? You might just be caught in a Distraction Action—and you're not alone.
This week, Suze and Jenni pull back the curtain on the sneaky ways we dodge the uncomfortable—especially those pesky emotions, thoughts, and to-do lists.
Suze and Jenni offer real talk and real tools (including their handy worksheet!) to help you notice when you're dodging the tough stuff and choose something that actually makes you feel better—not just distracted.
Because hey, distractions aren't always bad... unless they're keeping you from the life (and kitchen) you actually want.

Ever left the front door open and invited in a skunk? No? Well, it's a perfect metaphor for today's episode.
This week, Suze and Jen dig deep (but with plenty of laughs) into the curious world of habits—the sneaky, silent routines that can either make life smoother… or slowly drive us (and our loved ones) up the wall.
Jen and Suze also bravely defend the word "habit" from its bad PR, and explore how small shifts (like noticing your autopilot) can make a big difference in your life—and in your relationships.
Whether you're a creature of habit or a rebel against routine, this episode will have you rethinking what you do without thinking.

Ever wish you had a script for setting boundaries?
Something more than just "I'm done" or "Please stop"? Well, grab your metaphorical megaphone and join Suze and Jenni as they walk (and maybe sprint) through a powerful 7-step process for setting boundaries that's clear, kind, and totally doable.
Spoiler alert: It starts with a feeling... and ends with walking out if needed.
🛑 Whether you're boundary-curious or boundary-weary, this one's for you.
Because at the end of the day, your boundary isn't about controlling someone else—it's about taking care of you.

Suze and Jenni unpack the loaded word selfish—especially when it comes to women and caretakers. Have you ever been told you're selfish just for setting a boundary or doing something for yourself? You're not alone.
We talk about the guilt that can come with self-care, how that message got planted in us, and why taking care of yourself isn't just okay—it's necessary.
Healthy selfishness is a real thing… and it might just be your new superpower!

Suze and Jenni get real about self-esteem—what it is, how we lose it, and how we can build it back up. Ever catch yourself being way too hard on… you? Yeah, us too. We talk about the importance of checking in with ourselves, forgiving mistakes, and treating ourselves like someone we actually like. Spoiler alert! One key part of that is self-connection.

So many types of "endence": independence, dependence, codependence, and now interdependence! In our lives, there is a continuum of these ways of being in a relationship, where we are dependent as children, and maybe much later in our lives, with a majority of our lives hopefully in the interdependence zone. What is interdependence? Listen to Suze and Jenni discuss what they know about it and how to shoot for that type of relationship!

The term codependency was commonly used in the 80s, and it has faded over time. But does that mean that being codependent is gone? How do we even know if we're being codependent?
Depending on the person and the situation, doing for others what they should do for themselves can be considered codependent. Allowing others to have consequences for their choices and actions is the answer, even if that's scary.
All our family systems are like mobiles, where the slightest touch can have a major ripple effect. It's great to learn how to shoot for interdependence instead of continuing to do codependent things!
