Let's talk about this. This episode is based on Luke 15:4-6 or the Parable of the Lost Sheep and a reference to Luke 10:27-37.  Let's not sit idly and do nothing.  I am offering an interesting perspective that is based on my understanding of the Christian faith and the Bible.  God is very much for justice and hates injustice. Let's do something about the problem and not leave it to others. 

It is not wrong to be angry at the sins of this nation. However, it doesn't help to solely focus on the flaws and vilify this nation. I've never seen this help on a personal level. How can it help on a national level? Yes, we do need to deal with the issue of injustice in this country and not turn a blind eye to it. Beating this country up helps no one. It will only make repentance harder.

In today's episode, I do give some ideas and suggestions. I am hoping to share my own perspective on the situation. Let's not allow fear and hatred to dominate the very much needed conversation. 

If possible, I would like to share some insights into this "hot" topic.  How can I be certain? Everyone is yelling and little listening.  If you ever read Proverbs 21:3, Micah Isaiah 10:2, Isaiah 61:8, Ezekiel 18:27 and Micah 6:8; Scriptures make clear that God cares about justice and definitely cares about the poor. Why the poor? They're often the ones vulnerable to those who would exploit them.

I actually want to do a series around this hot topic. It's important that we have a biblical perspective and not go chasing after popular culture. Yes, the Bible does speak against racism and I'll talk about that in an upcoming podcast episode. This is just an intro.-  

When it comes to social media, it is easy to explode in anger at what we're seeing.  Can we all agree that this is not a good situation?
