 We think that we have in someway given an unseen punishment.  But in essence we have placed ourselves in a prism of negativity.  

We may never speak of the issue again; but it has attached an uncomfortable tumor in our spirit. 

 It may take weeks, months or years to make itself known.  But it is there, none the less.  

The only remedy and cure is forgiveness.  Forgiveness isn’t for your situation or the person and or persons.  It’s for you.  It’s a cleansing for you.  

So, let’s start with you…

This week's guest has stories that have stories.  She has lived a life that could be lived several times over by various people.  She has been richly surrounded with greatness; which enabled her to live in her greatness. 

She was/is one of the pioneers of “New Wave” (before that was a thing).  She’s a voice of the 80’s yet has become timeless with her music.  David Bowie loved her and Luther Vandross adored her.

Happy, blissful, overjoyed, doesn’t come close to the feeling I experienced as I was conversing with my brother from another other.  

My friend was the gift that didn’t want to stop giving and I was HERE FOR IT! 

It’s the mastery of directorship, MUA, songwriting, singing, producing, playwright for me.  It’s incredible how one man can embody so many arenas within the entertainment realm.  Ooh the duality of it all.

Here is the man who drops singles that make you wanna dance until you can’t dance no more, Mr. David A. Tobin.

This interview was one of the hardest to conduct.  It wasn't due to anything absurd on the part of the person being interviewed.   It was the subject itself.   

I have mentioned once or twice that I’ve become the ambassador for “International Justice Mission”.  It’s an organisation that orchestrates rescue missions for woman, men, boys and girls succumbed to sexual violence. Those who are exploited or sold into slavery.  IJM is the world’s largest organisation in the fight against slavery.  They know where they are and it’s their mission to free them.

 I can’t imagine waking each day knowing that my work is rooted in the pain of others.  I have so much admiration and respect for all departments within the International Justice Mission.

 It was indeed and honour and privilege to talk with the Executive Director of IJM,
Caroly Houmes.

In honour of Marvin Gaye's 50th anniversary of the iconic album "What's Going On",
I felt compelled  to recap this episode.

This episode was recorded last year; five months into the quarantine.  I was feeling the need to speak out about my own mental well being, all while observing others.

My heart also went out to those who may be victims of unsafe conditions, especially our children.  I immediately envisioned the lyrics written throughout this masterpiece.
