Well, friends...here is our very last episode of the Beyond Blessed Podcast. This is so bittersweet for both of us. Over the last few months, we have developed different passions (which include other podcasts, so tune into the episode to learn more about what we are up to!) and have decided that it is time for us to move on from Beyond Blessed and serve others in a different way. In today's episode of the Beyond Blessed Podcast, Alyson and Justine are interviewing Hannah Keels! Hannah is simply just one of the sweetest people EVER and we both just fell in love with her story. A few years ago, Hannah was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She was tested to the limit physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout her diagnosis. Even though her faith was tested, it became her lifeline during this time. Hannah's journey with cancer inspired her to write a book called Faith Like Skin, a retelling of lessons she learned along this journey and how God's promises are true. Hannah also shares with us how she met her husband Chuck (you NEED to hear this story!!! It is something out of a Nicolas Sparks movie!) and how they went on to create the Living Hope Cancer Foundation, where they offer cancer coaching to other struggling with cancer. Hannah's outlook on life is so inspiring and I cannot wait for you to hear her story. 

In today's episode, Alyson and Justine are chatting with Kelly Yetter! Kelly is a family and marriage counselor at Fairview Village Church. She shares some insight on how to remain faithful amidst what is going on in the world right now. No matter what your struggle is right now, whether it be financial, anxiety, stress, or anything else, God will help to get you through it. Everything that Kelly said brought us so much comfort and we cannot wait for you to listen to her message!

In this episode, Alyson & Justine are sharing all about Alyson’s PTE (Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy) surgery - an open heart surgery to remove the blood clots in her lungs.

In February, Alyson and Justine flew out to San Diego to UCSD for the surgery. The surgery was a success & Alyson is officially cured! So, in today's episode, we are chatting all about the week leading up to surgery, what occurred during surgery, and what recovery has been like!

Her story of overcoming sexual & emotional abuse as a child and cancer as an adult led her to write her book, I CAN-cer Vive. Monya shares all about the abuse she endured as a child, her cancer, batting depression the diagnosis of facial paralysis, and her upcoming book.
