This summer, Matt accidentally became the majority owner of a regional aquarium. And Nick discovered an unopened sleeve of Ritz crackers in his 95 tour vehicle.

Hi(gh).  How's it going? Long time no see. I have missed you.

So.. Where the heck have we been? 

Good question.  No acceptable answer(s), but we still listen to Phish daily.  We still talk all the time and as the pieces get realigned in our lives we are both fighting to make time for you.

Anyway, it looks like we recorded this and maybe never released it.  I listed to it and both Matt and Nick's mics are on and you can hear them well. That was about it really. Other than that I don't know much else about what's going on in this episode.  But chances are you are going to like it.

They also offer thoughtful commentary on the band’s performance and explain why the first set worked so much better than the second.

They did not do this thoughtfully.

Along the way, they discuss Charles Dickens, forgotten microphones, Shakedown Street, a possible Phish swinger community, and several facts that were almost certainly incorrect.

It was a serious review of an uneven show.

I know it's that time of year when everyone loses track of what day it is... but now you've got me wondering:

What year is it?

As Phish wraps up its historic run at MSG, Matt and Nick are, as usual, a day late and a dollar short.

This episode starts in 1993 and somehow ends in 1994. We're not entirely sure how we got there, but neither are our hosts.

Which raises an interesting question: Do you really want to go back to the '90s?

Sure, it may have been peak civilization. But there's something to be said for tomorrow always being better than yesterday.

Let’s face it. Matt and Nick are not exactly the most reliable podcast crew. But they are pretty amazing when they actually show up.

While Phish is out on the road, and some might even say CRUSHING it in the South, Nick and Matt are on vacation because it’s JULY.

But fear not. They’ll be back Tuesday.
