When your Tuesday is a Monday, then your Wednesday is… today.
Nick and Matt are still traveling through time, bouncing between days like a bad setlist segue. Yesterday they swore it was Monday, and for them, it was, but today they’re somehow stuck in Tuesday, and yet already talking about tomorrow.
With Phish off the road, they’ve been marooned in the past, replaying old shows to fill the void. Yesterday it was Winston-Salem ‘97, a straight-up banger. Today, they’re taking this International Tuesday to the next chapter: Amsterdam ‘97.
And let me tell you… damn. That soundcheck? So fire it makes you want to smack some guy with a European name.
The threads from yesterday are still hanging: Nick is still technically on vacation (but answering calls anyway), Matt might still be “out to lunch” from the day before, and both are feeling the creeping withdrawal that comes when the band stops touring. The time travel doesn’t help.
So, we’ve got multiple timelines converging here:
- Timeline One: Yesterday: It’s Tuesday but really Monday, and Winston-Salem still echoes in their heads.
- Timeline Two Today: It’s Amsterdam, 1997, and the soundcheck could power the grid.
- Timeline Three The Future: The present day, where two hosts refuse to accept the calendar’s authority.
Buckle up. This one’s a trip through eras, time zones, and at least one international incident involving a jam so nasty it should require a passport stamp.
If you are new always listen to the latest show first!
