But after you’ve been creating it for a while, you can run into roadblocks when it comes to creativity. So how do I continue to generate new macro content? The topics are all around you, and I share with you in this episode how I continue to find inspiration day in and day out!

Over the past few weeks, the discussion about leads with clients has come up a TON. I have so many clients that want to get as many leads as they can at the lowest cost (who doesn’t?). What I’ve realized throughout my years in business, however, is that it’s not so much about the quantity of the leads but the quality. Tracking high-value leads that are a definite sale is much more rewarding than pulling in a bunch of leads that don’t amount to much of anything.

Hiring your first employee can be super exciting but it is definitely a process. Having gone through rapid growth in 2018 with my own company (expanding from only contractors to 5 team members), there is a huge process for hiring an employee. To start, I suggest doing a two-week time study. It may seem counterintuitive, but it’s important to figure out what daily tasks you can delegate to someone else once you bring them onboard.

“It takes a lot to push yourself when you are all alone.” This has been one of my favorite quotes from David Goggins! I recently finished his book, Can't Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds, and I can’t say enough good things about it. This is going to be one of the books that I refer back to constantly. It’s super easy to push yourself to accomplish more when you have people watching, whether that be your team, or others. But how much do you accomplish when no one is around to notice?

Facebook ads have the ability to be massively successful for your business, but there are steps that need to be taken before this can happen. I know people who look to Facebook ads as their entire strategy for business growth and are let down when they don’t make as many sales or get as many leads as they thought that they would. I’m here to tell you that if you are using Facebook ads as your sole business tactic, you’re bound to be disappointed.

Today we’re diving deep into talking together about email marketing strategies. This is one of the most effective ways to stay in touch with your audience. Most people are under the impression that once these people are on their list, there’s no need to nurture those leads or to be consistent – but this couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s very easy to unsubscribe from an email list and you should be working to change those emails into tangible sales to help grow your business.

One year ago today, I decided that I wanted to start a podcast. When looking back on how much is different from 2018 to 2019, I have to acknowledge that everything has changed. A year ago I was still heavily involved in the day-to-day work with clients and my team consisted of only 3 people. Starting this podcast seemed like a huge time block where I wouldn’t be able to work with clients, but it was so important to our success as a company.
