Interesting ideas with Stan Hustad

 Yes we will tell you about Amazon and the China factor which is important and vital to many of us in life and business today.

But first I wanna tell you one of my favorite stories about growing up in the 1950s and I think you'll enjoy it. It's called.

Then yes like many of you I have mixed feelings about Amazon and those mixed feelings came to the forefront win last week because of the needs I had I bought four things from Amazon.  

So let me tell you the story of the four things from Amazon and indeed a little bit about the China factor.

I have done thousands of radio programs and I have done hundreds maybe even over 1000 video programs but I am an introvert... When my wife first met me with a smile she called me Shy Stanley.  

But let's face it it's hard to make it as an introvert in this noisy personality culture in your face influencer people who are all over and all around you.

So today I would like to invite you to be one of our interesting ideas personalities and then I'd like to share with you a fascinating article that I'm sure is a very helpful book on the subject of Quiet the power of introverts in a world that can't stop talking.

Well over the weekend I got all of my previous radio programs on Interesting Ideas and it precursors transferred to a YouTube channel where you can experience all of them and hundreds of people did over the weekend.  I'm grateful

And I hope your weekend was worthwhile but sometimes in the radio business they may call it worthless, and what in the world does that mean. But right now a lot of people are questioning their own place position in space in life. So the article came out and simply asked the question "Are you in the place where you're supposed to be? And in a number of ways I went through that exercise this weekend and I pass it onto you for some of your summertime thinking reading and maybe even meditating and praying. And now I am convinced that by Labor Day weekend here in United States which is the end of summer I hope to have some real clarity about that question. So let me start helping you and if you want some real time professional help maybe I can do that in terms of your life and business.

 Yes it seems like a crazy click bait title but there's actually some serious thought in the "God is drunk" idea... End it might be a bit encouraging to you today.  And then we have some suggestions for the rest of the weekend. 

And some interesting stories and we will not talk about Father's Day because everybody else is doing that... And as I often point out there are lots of people in the world who that idea unfortunately brings back some pretty bad memories.

Then I have some good news for people like me who are introverts who often times are not regarded as important or dismissed because this culture tends to give more credit and attention to the noisy extroverts of our world.

And we have a great new podcast coming that those of you who are seeking to express your inner cowboy and your love of horses will look forward to with real anticipation.

 Here we go friends just 20 minutes and you'll learn more here by accident than most places by design!!!  Now I need to hear from you because I had one of the worst dreams I can remember in a long time. And it wasn't traditional nightmare, as I don't have those anymore, but it was as scary as could be and I woke up and I was shaking ... So let me tell you about it and then tell me if you think it means anything.

 And of course you may have heard that the Beatles are back ... Thanks to artificial intelligence John Lennon is back and the song is going to be wonderful and perfect, but will it really work. Let me tell you the story of why it won't be the same and that one of the great Beatles songs was not done very well at all, but it turned out to be one of their greatest hits.

OK Donald Trump was indicted and charged yesterday and now we are learning more and more, and I can tell you that Donald Trump will not go to jail.  For sure you're with the challenge me on that but I will make my case.

It's Monday evening and you're kind of tired because there is a bit of Monday malaise going around right now. We are looking for inspiring things to happen and they're not. So let's see if we can create something that'll make an impact, so let me ask you about your IQ!

But first let me take credit for my 72 hour maxim and how we have now learned things very differently some good maybe, some not so for Donald Trump, but we now know more about the indictment that took place on Friday.

And in the midst of all the stupid stuff going on this will remind you of one of my favorite little prayers and so I will share it with you today.

I might be imagining it but wasn't there a TV program once called Who or Whom do you trust?  As I said I don't know it might be a figment of my elderly imagination but unfortunately the question is more relevant today than ever.

Who in government, media, academia, entertainment, major corporations, even unfortunately in our religious institutions ... Well of course the answer is that most of us don't trust a whole bunch of those situation's and institutions.  And that's a problem because the only thing that keeps society somewhat from coming apart is that you do have the ability or at least some inclination to trust somebody to do something and to do it right.

So with that in mind I want you to hear about my personal radio station WDKT and why it's important to know it and listen to it and repeat it and now we wait another 48 hours before we make any comment about Donald Trump...  

Remember to practice the 72 hour rule.

Thank you because hundreds of you are now going back and listening to the over 700 older programs that I've done in this thread though they went by different names there's still me being me.  So let me tell you first of all a life reality from a sad story about a little duck.

Then I chose a program from about three years ago which I think you will find very helpful and useful. In fact it is even more timely right now in this age of AI then it was when I did it. So if you're smart, at least you'll consider taking the 20 minutes of hearing this sad story and then at least thinking about and maybe challenging me and challenging you with the positions that I will take about life business and marketing you right now today

 it's Monday night or early evening and you've had a busy day.  If you were a leader Monday is a good day to do an audit of the day... Let me tell you how that works and why it's a good deal and then let me tell you about the romance of radio.  Doing radio can really get to be something you love and can hardly believe that you get to do it.  It indeed has a kind of romance to it.

But even if you aren't in reading and aren't even interested in being on the radio my story will be helpful to you in the life and business you're doing right now.  Because what happens to you and what you can do with having the radio in your life in your business is something that can help you do life a whole lot better...

And even as we say with a smile give you a touch of immortality.  Again I think you'll learn more here by accident than most places by design and it's under 20 minutes they just sit and listen on a Monday evening.

 Yes as I said yesterday books and movies and radio they're all being squeezed out by new ways in new technologies.  So what are you going to do with all of the new ideas and technologies?  Are you an early adopter or are you one of those or cautious souls who wait to the last moment and are very late adopters.  

Well of course most of us are somewhere in the middle, but we need to have a view a guide post to evaluating new technologies and new strategies and unfortunately most of us do not have the ability to do that as well as we like, and that is why we need to cultivate new learning and new friendships in new relationships with people who understand things a little bit better than we do... 

And now many of those people are much younger than most of us, and we have to learn a little humility and trust their growing wisdom and limited experience.

But today I can challenge you and I will that there is something you need to do to deal with the ever going and growing threat to your well-being by the AI phenomenon.

And that is to cultivate a strong sense of IA ... So let me tell you the story.
