    ---TRANSCRIPT---
    (00:00):
What's up, everybody. Welcome back to Internet Profits Blueprint podcast. This is Lik Foon. Today I want to share with you how you can make the most out of your contents so that it is not just a one-time thing, so that you can maximize the visibility and attention that each piece of content can bring you. And so that it can help you in growing and building your audience on social media.
    (00:27):
So as content creators, we are always trying our best to create the best content that we can put out there that hopefully people will want to consume and hopefully go viral. We will spend a lot of time on brainstorming the ideas. We create a content. We post it. And usually within 24 to 48 hours, if one piece of content didn't take off, it just died. We spent so much time, energy, and effort on each piece of content, but most of them never take off. It just end there.
    (01:06):
There are always good contents that we created that never take off for whatever reason. So the question that I always think about is, how can I make the most out of one piece of content that I created? How can I maximize the reach for each piece of content? Because since you have been putting in a lot of effort, a lot of time, energy and thought process into creating one piece of content, you better don't waste it. You want to be able to squeeze the most out of the contents that you create. You want to be able to maximize the reach and visibility you can get from one piece of content. And I found that the way to do it is by using this concept of repurposing contents.
    (01:56):
I first learned this concept from my mentor Peng Joon. He called it the content multiplier formula. Basically what it means is, you will create one core piece of content and then repurpose it across different platforms. Usually you will start with video as your core content, because a lot of things can be done from video. You can turn the transcription into blog post, you can take the audio and turn into a podcast episode and you can create quote cards from what you said in the video. There are so many things that you can create from one video.
    (02:32):
By doing this, you are making sure that you are squeezing the most out of one piece of content so that you are not just letting it to sit on one platform and die over time. You are trying to get it to reach as many people as possible. The key to repurposing content is you want to match the content with the context of the platform.
    (02:57):
It means that you need to give the platform what it wants. For example, if the core piece of my content is podcasts, because that's where I started, the other platform that I'm currently growing is Instagram. So I can repurpose my content on podcasts onto Instagram. So I will pick the contents on podcasts that I saw got more downloads, that people are listening to and repurpose it into Instagram. But I don't want to just repurpose it onto Instagram in audio format because that's not how people consume contents on Instagram.
    (03:40):
Remember I said that you have to match the content to the context of the platform? You have to understand how your audience likes to consume on Instagram. So right now the format that is working really well on Instagram is called carousel where you are stacking a bunch of images together and people can keep swiping over the images to see the next image.
    (04:06):
So for me, when I repurpose my podcast contents to Instagram, I will create it in the format of carousel. I just summarize the key lessons from my podcast episodes and design it into a bunch of images so that my audience on Instagram can consume them in the format of images. That is how I repurpose my contents. It doesn't take me a lot of time to do this because I don't have to go through the entire brainstorming and planning process again, to create that one piece of content. I just repurpose my content from one platform to every other platforms. And that is how you can get your life back as a content creator. Because if you were to create completely different pieces of content for different platforms, you will hate your life because you will lost your life. You will get stuck in creating contents over and over again.
    (05:09):
And another thing is, our audience will have their own favorite way to consume contents. Some people will love podcasts. Some people don't. Some people love reading words. Some hate it. Some love to watch videos, some never. So you want to make sure that you have different format of contents created for different platform to target different group of audience.
    (05:35):
And like I said, ideally, it is the best to start with video because from one video you can create so many formats from it for different platforms. But you don't have to do it this way if you are not comfortable being on camera, because I know that it is not easy. But the key is just pick the platforms that is comfortable for you and that you can repurpose your contents in different formats. For me, I know that ultimately what I want to do is to create videos on YouTube and use that as my core piece of content and then repurpose them to other platforms so that I am everywhere. But that is the plan for future. For right now, my focus will be on podcast and Instagram. And I enjoy the process very much. Anyway. I hope this helps you in your content creation process to get more exposure and visibility across different platforms and still have a life. Thank you for listening today and take care.

  • The Secret Headline Formula To Get You More Clicks
Your headline is the key to determine whether or not your ads, contents or email will get clicked. It acts as the hook that grab attention so that people will give you the attention and listen to what you have for them. So today I want to share with you the secret formula to writing a compelling headline that is proven to get you clicks and attention.
    ---TRANSCRIPT---
    (00:00):
Hey everyone. Hope you're doing awesome today. And this is Lik Foon. Today I want to talk about the secret formula to writing a compelling headline because your headline is the first thing that people will see before they click on your ad, before they watch your video or read your email. And it is important for you to spend time on writing a compelling headline so that people will want to click and give you their attention. So let's go.
    (00:29):
All right. So I just got my ebook cover done for my top 108 headline ideas that I put into an ebook that I give away for free when someone joins One Funnel Away Challenge through my link. And I think headline is important because it is the key to determine if someone will click on your ads, or your content or open your email, because your headline is the hook that grabs people's attention so that they will stop to listen to what you have for them. So today, I want specifically talk about headline.
    (01:09):
I think this is the piece that most people missed and most people need because without a good headline, even if your contents are good, even if your offer is good, nobody's going to click on it to get to discover more. So it is important for you to spend equal amount of time, focus and effort on your headlines just as much as you spend on your contents or your offer. In fact, I heard Russell Brunson said that he would spend hours on his presentation headline before he even start working on his presentation. Because without a good headline, it doesn't matter how good your presentation is. It just couldn't grab people.
    (01:51):
And it doesn't mean that having a good headline alone is enough. It doesn't mean that your contents don't have to be good. It still has to be amazing, but headline is the first thing that you need to work on. It will give you a good start if you have a good headline. Now I know that this is the piece that most people missed, and that's why they're struggling. And that's why when I'm wokring on my One Funnel Away Challenge's bonuses in last few weeks, I decided to put together the top 108 headlines that are proven to get clicks, into an ebook that I give away for free when someone signs up for One Funnel Away Challenge through my link. And if you want it, you can get it for free when you sign up for One Funnel Away through my link at likfoon.com/ofa. The landing page is still not updated yet for now, because I just got the design back from my designer, but I will be sure to update the page by this week. But if you are not planning to get it, that's okay, because today that's the purpose of this podcast.
    (03:00):
Today I want to share with you one most simple and basic, but effective headline formula that has been used by marketers over and over again in their ads, in their presentation titles, in their email titles and many more because it just work. But before I reveal to you what the formula is, I want you to think about what gets people to want to click.
    (03:25):
What is your audience looking for in your contents, in your presentation and your offer, or when they are reading your email? Do you know what it is? I've mentioned this before that, all people want in life is just two things. It is either to move towards pleasure or to move away from pain. So what this means for you is your headline should always touch on this two points: to move towards pleasure and to move away from pain.
    (04:01):
And the proven headline formula for this is called how to X in Y without Z. X is the result that you promise. Y is the timeframe. Z is the things that they hate doing. So how to RESULT in TIMEFRAME without THE THINGS THEY HATE DOING. That is the formula. This is the headline formula that marketers have been using over and over again, but still work the magic until today When it comes to getting people to click and paying attention to what you have.
    (04:45):
The reason why this headline formula works well is because it has the balance between moving towards pleasure and away from pain. Which is ultimately the things that people want in their lives, the things that they're trying to achieve in their lives. The good example for this formula, would be something like this.. Let's say you are in fitness market, you teach people how to get six pack abs. It would be: How to get six pack abs in 30 days without giving up the rice or noodles that you like.
    (05:26):
And that is so simple, but so powerful because it speaks directly to what people really want in their lives. But you want to be really careful when you're using this kind of headline in your ads, especially in Facebook, because Facebook, they hate specific promise in specific timeframe. They don't like ads that specifically mentioned the amount of time it takes to get one result. It will potentially getting your ad account shut down or banned. So you might need to tweak a little bit when you're using this for your Facebook ads. Just remove the promise of time. So it would be something like this: how to X without Z - how to RESULT without THINGS THEY HATE DOING - how to get six pack abs without giving up the foods that you love. Just remove the time promise when you are using this for your Facebook ads. Other than that, this formula will work amazing for you.
    (06:28):
The same formula that you can use over and over again, if this is the only thing you have. Again, if you would like to get my 108 proven headline ideas, you can get it for free when you join One Funnel Away Challenge through my link at likfoon.com/ofa. I will be sure to update the page and offer in this week. Just make sure that you check it out. You don't have to have it, but having it will give you ideas of different headlines that you can create for your ads, for your contents, for your landing page and many more. All right. With that said, that's it for today. Stay awesome. And see you again.
