  • The Three Ways To Grow Any Business
Growing a business doesn't always need to be complicating, with different strategies or tactics. Because when all is said and done, it all comes down to these three ways. This is what I learned from the legendary marketer, Jay Abraham. Let's jump right in and discover what those three ways are!
    (00:00):
What's up everyone. Welcome back. And this is Lik Foon. Today, I want to share with you the simple three ways to grow any business that I learned from the legendary marketer, Jay Abraham. So Jay Abraham, the OG marketing guru said that there are only three ways to grow any business. And they sound really basic and simple, so simple that most people just ignore it. Sometimes we just over overcomplicated things and trying to seek for the next secret and the next strategy, and that's why we get stuck. But when all is said and done, in order to grow a business to the next level, these are the three different ways to do it.
    (00:43):
So the first way to grow a business is obviously to get more customers. When you are just starting out, your primary focus is to get more customers, nothing else. You are going to create content, putting out different hooks, running campaigns, and do everything to get customers in door. And this is what we call the acquisition phase. You want to acquire as many customers as possible. And the keys to this is you need to become really good at three things, hook, story, and offer. You need to become good at creating hooks that stop people from scrolling and give you attention so that you can tell a good story explaining what you have for them and why they need it. And then finally present your irresistible offer. So that's number one.
    (01:37):
The second way to grow a business is to get your customers to buy more. You want to make each customer, the same customer to buy more things. That's when you will create up-sell and send out followup emails, push them into buy more products from you. Your goal is to make each customer worth more for you because that's equivalent to free money. Because think about this, they already buy something from you and become your customers. They are going to spend money with you anyway. So you may as well get them to buy more things at the same time. You don't even have to run ads to retarget them, or re-acquire them because they are already your existing customers now. And I said this before that the second yes is always easier than the first. Once they have agreed to spend money with you, it is not hard to get them to say yes again, because at this point, all the friction in buying and the skepticism are now gone. They already know like, and trust you. And that's why they're willing to buy from you. This is what we call the Ascension phase. You are trying to ascend your customers to the next things, your next product, your next service that you have in your business. And that brings us to number three.
    (02:57):
Now that you have consistent sales coming in, you have new customers every month and people are buying. Now, you want to shift your focus from getting people to buy into buying more frequently. You want the same customers to come back more often and buy more frequently. This is when you can have some sort of continuity or recurring charge for your product or service so that you get paid consistently every single month. And this is really the ultimate goal. It is way easier to and better to have the same 100 customers to pay you consistently every single month, than trying to acquire new different customers every single month, right? As long as you serve them right, you build rapport with them and relationship with them, genuinely helping them, people are willing to continue to become your paying customers. And this is what we call the Monetization phase.
    (03:53):
You want to maximize your monetization from each customer. And when you have a group of people who are willing to pay you every month, you don't have to worry anymore. Your business will be able to continue to grow and strive no matter what. And these are the basic three ways to grow your business to any level. Obviously there are different strategies and tactics out there that you can also apply to grow a business, but understanding these fundamentals will give you the clarity on the direction of where your business is heading, moving on. All right, that's all for today. Hope you get some valuable lesson today and with that said, I will talk to you again tomorrow. Take care.

  • Putting The Right Message In Front of The Right People At The Right Time
Not all customers are created equal. Your prospects will respond to different types of sales message and buy based on the message that resonated with them. It is not one-size-fit-all. You have to know the exact message to speak to attract the right people to you. And that is our focus today in this episode.
    (00:00):
Hey, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Internet Profits Blueprint podcast. I am Lik Foon. And today I want to help you to identify the level of awareness of your audience, of your prospects, so that you know what to say to them and how to say it right, to get them to want to buy your offer.
    (00:19):
There is this book called Breakthrough Advertising by Eugene Schwartz, an all time classic marketing book published in I think 1960 or so, and is said to be a must read for all marketers and business owners. I never read this book. It is not an easy read, but I learned most of the concepts inside the book from different marketers. So many marketing lessons from that book. But I think there is one concept that every marketer and business owner should know, because it helps in our sales message to speak to the right audience, with the right message.
    (01:04):
And you have to know what to speak and how to speak it right to attract your target audience from different level, whether it's in your sales video, sales copy or live presentation, because not all of them will respond to the same sales message. So in the book, Eugene Schwartz said, basically your target audience or prospects is categorized into three different levels. And for each level of prospect, you have to speak to them differently. The first level of people is people who he called problem aware. Problem aware means they are aware of the problem they are currently dealing with, but they have no idea what to do with it. Or if it is even possible to get the problem solved.
    (01:57):
For this type of prospects, your sales message, your headline, your title, or your sales copy wants to always focus on the problem. You want to emphasize the problem and getting them to realize that it is not okay to live with the problem and that your product or service is the solution to the problem. A good example to this would be before Uber was invented. So before Uber was invented, people were getting sick and tired of the problem with taxi and inconvenience to find one during peak hours. They are frustrated with the problem, but they didn't know it is even possible to solve the problem. So they just live with it. And then when Uber came, it is very easy for Uber to switching people over. They just need to emphasize the problem of taxi and the inconvenience, and then position themselves as the only solution to the problem. And then, and that's how Uber became Uber. So that's the first level: problem aware.
    (03:21):
The second level of prospects are what we call the solution aware. These are people who are now aware of the problem they are going through, and they know the solution to it as well. They know the problem with taxi and they know e-hailing is the solution, but they're just, haven't quite sold on the idea of e-hailing. They are still skeptical of the solution. They know the problem of working for someone else, and they knwo the solution is to quit their nine to five and start their own business. But they're just not really sure if they really want to quit their job. So for this group of people who are aware of the solution, but just haven't really buy to it, your sales message wants to focus on the desire, the desire comes from the solution. It is convenient. It is fast. You don't have to wait... And what you're trying to do here is to paint the beautiful picture in their mind on what this solution can bring to them. And that's number two, the solution aware.
    (04:30):
And the last group of your prospects are people who are product aware. They know the problem, they are sold on the solution, they believe in it now, but now there still can't decide which product which brand should they use. They're not sure if they want to use Uber or use Grab or other e-hailing company. They know the problem of working for someone else, they know the solution is to quit their nine to five, but they don't know if they should start an online business, run a retail business or open a bakery shop. These people are actually the easiest sales because they are totally sold on the idea, the solution and everything else. They just need to decide which to buy or use. And it is really easy to talk them into buying your product.
    (05:23):
For this group of people, your sales message simply focus on your product or your brand. You just talk about your product, your brand, and how it is different as well as other benefits, and then some of them will just buy immediately. It is not hard to get them to buy. And this is also our favorite group of people to sell to, the product aware. And there go. The three types of prospects and different ways to speak to them.
    (05:51):
So I think the conclusion is, you have to speak to your prospects based on their level of awareness: either product aware, solution aware, or problem aware. Because each level of prospects will respond to different types of sales message. And if you are not speaking at their level, they will never get sold on your thing. It is about putting the right sales message in front of the right people at the right time. And that's it.
    (06:21):
All right, with that said, hope you are taking notes and listen to this again if you need to, because this is an important lesson for you. All right. Talk to you again.

  • How To Sell The Exact Thing Your Prospects Want To Buy
When you are first starting out, you want to be able to get your product to start selling as soon as you put it out into the marketplace before you run out of time or money. Most entrepreneurial dream dies because they either run out of time, or money before their business takes off. And that is what this 3-step system can help you with.
    ---TRANSCRIPT---
    (00:00):
Hey, what's up, everyone. Welcome back to internet profits blueprint podcast. I am Lik Foon. And today I want to reveal to you a three-step formula to how you can sell the exact thing your audience want to buy so that you don't have to stress out, trying to figure out where you can find people to buy.
    (00:20):
I think one of the biggest problems with us entrepreneurs is that we always will have this shiny object syndrome where we will come up with different ideas of different things that we can create and sell or do, which is nothing wrong, because we tend to be more creative, right? Our brain is always running. And I think that is our super power. But sometimes we will get overexcited about an idea. We think it is the most unique idea and we believe it is going to work. And we just went on to execute on the idea.
    (01:00):
So we create the product, we put together the offer, get it done and ready to put it into the marketplace. And then the next question that pops up in mind is, who should we sell it to? And I think that is actually a wrong question to ask at a wrong time time, because you should already figure out who you are going to sell to and how you are going to sell it before you even create your product. Otherwise you are just praying and hoping, and hope is a bad word in marketing and business.
    (01:40):
And I learned that in order to make sure that your idea is going to selling well, when you put it out in the marketplace, is basically three step formula, called the underachiever method. This is something I learned from Russell Brunson. And I believe this training is initially created by Frank Kern and later bought over by Russell Brunson.
    (02:06):
And this is really the, the simplest way, but also the most powerful formula for you to create something that, you know, people are willing and able to buy. So the first step in this underachiever formula is to find a hot market. Sounds simple, right? But there are few very keys to identifying if a market is really a hot market that has money in it, that you should tap into. We don't want to just assume based on our own opinion. You want to make sure that you are really tapping into a hot market.
    (02:51):
So first you want to make sure that the people in this market is irrationally passionate about the market. And the way you can tell that is when you can find different groups or pages or channels that are talking about the same topic and that people are consuming contents from. And then you also want to make sure that the people in this market is both willing and able to spend money.
    (03:23):
Let's say, if you are creating a product, targeting students... Chances are, it is not going to do very well for, for a long time. Even tho they might be willing to give you money, if they want to, but they didn't have it. Because they are still students. They might need to ask their parents for it. While this market might still work, but it is going to take a longer time for you to start making money. And if you are just starting out, you don't have time to wait. You want to be profitable as soon as possible. And then you also want to find everyone else in this market who is already successfully selling what you want to sell. You don't want to be the first in the market. You want to be modeling what is proven to sell. Well, just like what I talk about modeling success in the last episode.
    (04:22):
And that brings us to number two. Step number two is to ask them what they want. I think we always assume that we know what people want to buy, but the reality is we don't. Because you are not the one who is pulling money from your own pocket to buy anyway. So your opinion doesn't matter. It is all about them. You want to identify the current problem in the market that you can solve with your solution or your product. And you do this by looking around in different groups or articles or contents and see what questions are being asked in this marketplace and what problems they, they want to get solved so that you can then present your product as the solution to the problems.
    (05:14):
And that brings us to number three. Finally, you just give it to them. You create a product, you set up the sales page and fulfilling it through your sales process or sales funnel, sending people to the sales page. And this is actually the easiest part, if you've done all the steps before right. And that's it. And I know that this sounds really simple and basic, but basic doesn't equal practical, right? Sometimes we just ignore the fundamental things because we overcomplicated things. When all is said and done, it all comes down to the fundamentals and we just need to trust the process and do it.
    (06:00):
Anyway. Hope you find this valuable. That's all I want to share with you today. This is really how you can sell things that you know your prospects want to buy. And if you want to dive deeper, you can actually search for the underachiever method by Russell Brunson. If you can find it. All right, that's for today. And, take care.

  • The Fastest Way To Get Your First Wave of Success
My biggest realization while I am trying to figure what else I can create on Instagram to start having success. This concept doesn't just apply to creating contents on Instagram, it is the same concept when it comes to creating your first winning product, launching your first profitable business and everything else!
This is the fastest way to start having small wins in everything you do. Let's jump right in!
    (00:00):
Hey, everyone. Welcome back to internet profits, blueprint, podcast. Hope you're doing awesome today. Today, I wanna talk about how you can start having the first wave of success in anything that you're trying to achieve and dominate.
    (00:15):
Hey guys, and gals welcome back. It's a beautiful Monday. And first of all, I want to apologize for late upload. My podcast is supposed to be going live in the morning, at seven in the morning, every single day. And I usually record my podcasts on Sunday. But I only managed to record it live now because the last few days was insane.
    (00:36):
So last Friday I went to dentist and wanted to put on braces, but it turns out I need to remove three tooth before I can do it. So I removed three tooth on last Friday, and then couldn't talk for a few days until today.
    (00:54):
I was so worried to miss out the podcast today. Luckily I felt better today and I can talk and do this podcast for you guys. Anyway, I just want to let you know what has been going on in my life. So today I want to talk about one principle that I learned, that is so important that I forgot for the last two weeks. Last two weeks was crazy for me. I spent a lot of time on creating contents on Instagram and also trying to grow my following there. I think I prefer Instagram a lot more than Facebook. Because organic traffic on Facebook is basically dead. I have someone last couple of days ago on Facebook, talking about how he has over 2000 friends on Facebook and only got 40 or so views on the video he put out. It is really hard to get attention on Facebook now, but on Instagram it's still working well.
    (01:56):
You just need to put in more time if you don't want to invest money to grow your following there. So I spent a lot of time in the last two weeks on Instagram and wanting to put out the best content to attract people to my account and start following me. And I started to get stressed out a little bit, not going to lie, because I was running out of creativity and trying to figure out what else, unique and different content ideas I can come up with. So I started to check out different accounts and hashtags to see what exact contents people are putting out there. And I noticed that almost every account with big followings like to create the Twitter style posts. If you know what I'm talking about, people designed their posts to look like the layout of a Twitter post. Somehow it is the trending now and people just show response to these kind of posts.
    (02:55):
It doesn't make sense for me and I didn't want to do it at first because I want to come out with my own style. But I figured that it is not a bad idea for me to just try and see if it helps to get some attention to my posts. So I started to putting out this kind of posts on my feed, and surprisingly, it works. I got more engagement on my posts than weeks earlier. And this just reminds me of the principle of modeling success. I remember I talked about this before. The concept from Tony Robbins. He said, if you want to have success in anything, you just need to model who has done it. They have proven to you what works and what doesn't. If you just model what they have done, you can to get the similar results.
    (03:50):
It is not that you can't have your own way to achieve success, or you can't follow your own path. But when you are new in something, you just don't know what you don't know. And the fastest way to get results, and the lowest hanging fruit is to modeling someone who has done it. When you start having success from modeling, then you can weave in your own creativity and your own style, trying to become different and achieve the next level of success. So for me, when I am still new to Instagram, there are so many things that I just didn't know yet. There are people who are in the platform way longer than me, and they understand the platform a lot better than I do. They know what kind of contents are proven to work and how people will respond to it. So if I want to start having success in this platform, the lowest hanging fruit for me is to modeling what is proven to work on this platform.
    (04:52):
This is my biggest realization in the last few days, just reminding me of this concept of modeling success. So for you, when you are launching your products, creating your contents or anything, understand that there is someone out there who has figured it out. They're putting in their resources and going through trials and errors to figure out what is working and what doesn't. The easiest for you to have the same level of success as them is to model them. Well, it might not get you the exact same result, but it will make sure that you're on the right track to avoid unnecessary trials and errors. And that would have made a big difference for you.
    (05:39):
Anyway, hope this helps. And by the way, if you haven't already follow me on Instagram, be sure to connect with me over there. And I would love to see you there. All right. That's it for today. Wish you an amazing day and talk to you again.

The difference between a top salesperson and an average, is all about the words they use in their sales pitch. Knowing what to say and say it right is the very key to get someone to buy into your offer.
It is all about them. NOT YOU. In order to sell, you have to understand what it is that they truly want from you or your product. And that's something we are going to talk about in this episode.
Tune in now and discover how you can craft a sales pitch that your prospects couldn't resist and have to give you their money!

  • It Is All About Perceived Value
There are two ways to make something cheaper. You either lower the price of the thing to make it cheaper, OR you increase the value of the thing so much that it feels cheaper. And I can guarantee that, you never want to cut out your own margins and lower the price to become cheaper.
If you can understand how to increase the perceived value of your thing to make it feels cheaper versus everyone else in the market who is selling the similar thing, you quickly became the only logical choice in your market. But only if you truly understand how to do it RIGHT.
In this episode, I am going to share with you how you can increase the perceived value of your products or services to give you an unfair advantage over everyone else.

  • The Second Yes Is Always Easier
In order for someone to buy something, they have to break through a lot of frictions internally to make the buying decision. They have to convince themselves that the purchase is worth the money they pay. Getting them to say the first yes is always the hardest part.
But once they decided to buy, all of the frictions that they had earlier, is now gone. They are now ready to spend money and buy something. This is your golden chance to not just making sales, but also the EXTRA sales.
In this episode, I am going to share with you how you can make extra sales to generate extra profit, right after someone has just purchased something from you (it is way easier than you thought!)
