Alex Howlett (pictured), a former software developer, has devoted his life ("hopefully", he says "not too much of it") to see the simple mechanism of the basic income adopted by economies around the world.

Alex hosts the Boston Basic Income on YouTube live each week and has involved himself with a number of organizations, including the Friedberg Economics Institute and the Institute for New Economic Thinking.

Before the intensity of the work became overwhelming, Alex had been reframing his YouTube events as podcasts and they can be found here.
