Helen Haines (pictured) is the Independent Member for Indi and there was a certain sense of honesty and freedom in talking with her that's missing when the discussion is with a party politician.

Helen credits her concerns for the climate crisis as being one of the key reasons for her election to the seat of Indi in North Eastern Victoria.

She has worked with many communities throughout her electorate, and around Australia, to see them embrace renewable energy and take positive steps to reduce their carbon emissions.
