Mark Beeson is a Professor of International Politics at the University of Western Australia in Perth and his latest book, "Environmental Anarchy" is the subject of this latest episode.

Mark, who was a guest on Climate Conversations early in 2020 when he talked about his earlier book. "Environmental Populism", is about to retire and so it is likely Environmental Anarchy will be his last book.

He is not "Wildly optimistic about fixing any of these problems soon" and we need to "get our skates on as the window of opportunity is closing".
