Paris has been the location for lots of recent TV shows, with some scepticism from people in the city. In Netflix's Emily in Paris, the young American heroine takes endless selfies in front of glamorous locations. Several memes cropped up with Emily in front of piles of rubbish or the Gilets Jaunes protests.

Today's Martha Kearney speaks to French-Italian actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu who has appeared in Call My Agent and Emily in Paris, and will be part of the next series of The Crown.
