The national convenor of Mass Mailout for Climate, Robert Patterson, talks on Climate Conversations about his group's goal of helping Zali Steggall achieve her aim of seeing a legitimate debate in parliament about the climate crisis.

Robert said he first began to understand the realities of climate change some 40 years ago, but now after all those years of waiting, and five Prime Ministers later, nothing has happened and Australia has plunged to the bottom of the world's nations that are acting on the climate crisis.

He understands the fact that people are busy, preoccupied with surviving in our modern lives, but hopes the growing majority of people concerned about climate change will check out the group's website, follow its advice on how to write a letter to a parliamentarian and post if off to Canberra.
