Pantychrist. Got your attention? Good, because here we have Dana Dentata - a musician and visionary like no other. We welcome the Toronto-born, LA-based immersive artist onto IUF to discuss her notable and storied career. From growing up listening to pop, rap, and nu-metal - to modeling, to dancing, and to rocking the guitar in her own punk band – this is an episode for the books, and then some. One of the main focal points here is her new debut solo album “Pantychrist,” which takes shock-rock and horrorcore to a whole new level while combining these thematics with sounds of hip-hop, industrial metal, and rap. And that's just what's on the surface. Dana has been through hell and back and we take a deeper perspective on her experiences that have shaped her into who she is today. Creating music to make other women feel free and supported is something she takes to heart, and with how this world has been shaping up to be in modern days, there couldn't have been a more fitting timeframe to drop the new album. From themes, to songwriting, to her personal struggles and fight, to wisdom – this album is a pure and raw representation and testament to everything Dana has worked up to this point. “Dentata” is also translated as vagina dentata, which means teeth. No filters needed here, and it seems as if she's just getting started with a new chapter. In the final segment of this episode, she holds nothing back as we discuss the impact of the newest abortion bill in Texas and the way it has gripped and horribly affected millions of women (and men) from an emotional and physical standpoint. Dana tells her story of perseverance, and as a survivor, it has been an inspiration to thousands around the world. This only adds fuel to her fire. Daddy is here; Tune in now and be sure to buy and stream Dana Dentata's debut solo record, “Pantychrist,” out now everywhere via Roadrunner Records. Just don't forget to turn the volume up to 11.

Mastiff are a UK based blackened sludge outfit who bring the pain. And by pain,we mean the monstrous and crushing riffs, earth-shattering vocals, and an atmospheric background which are all brought to the surface on their latest offering, “Leave Me The Ashes Of The Earth.” Vocalist Jim Hodge joins us today to talk about the origins of the band and the production behind their 3rd album. Hailing from the city of Kingston Upon Hull, Jim describes the city's history which is one of many elements that helped pave the way with the writing process. It's not a popular city by any stretch, but it's something that served as a catalyst that he and his bandmates were able to translate from pen to paper. Mastiff have added in the anger and passion that any human can have, and this record is sure to keep the pulse going in any setting. It's a lot to dissect, and the best part is that this particular interview was done within one of the more serene settings any of our guests could have, as Jim comfortability rests (and deservedly so) in a hot tub under the stars in the nighttime sky while diving into the darkness of the new music. A fun and unique episode here; “Leave Me The Ashes Of The Earth” is a record that Jim and his crew are immensely proud of. It's time to bring the pain, so tune in now and be sure to buy the new album, out now worldwide via EOne.
