Mentioned on the episode:
Connecticut Adoption law: Adoptions and Foreign Births (ct.gov)
Catholic Charities: The Catholic church has been very active in facilitating adoption. If you were adopted through a Catholic agency, you can contact that agency or the Catholic Charities/Services where you were adopted and request non-identifying information and any documents they may have maintained. Access is dependent on the laws in your state or province. Unfortunately, the majority of records are closed. It never hurts to ask, though!
