CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO’s composer interview series continues as Jason Drury concludes his chat with legendary recording engineer, Mike Ross-Trevor.
In February 2018, Jason Drury interviewed legendary film music engineer, Mike Ross Trevor and was thrilled that so many people out there enjoyed the show.
Soon after completing the show, Jason decided that one show dedicated to Mike’s work was not enough, so he decided to do a companion piece to the interview show which features music from six films that weren’t included in the original program.
Jason’s show features music from the recent re-issue of RAMBO III (Goldsmith), RELATIVE VALUES (Debney), MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE (Conti), and THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA (Broughton)., You’ll also hear selections from the re-recordings of ISLANDS IN THE STREAM (Goldsmith) and IVANHOE (Rozsa). The show ends with music from the 1999 version of THE MUMMY (Goldsmith). All selections are introduced with memories of each score from Mike Ross-Trevor himself.
