Welcome to Into the Mirror. Your home for healing, transformations and badass awakenings. My name is Brody Miller and this is Alexander Jones and we are your grateful hosts.
Today is a real great episode. First, Brody had a seizure while running and actually smashed his face into the ground and now is having to get some serious dental work but the good news is he can and is able to. He is okay and Brody is quite the trooper and is on the recovery side.
Today, we're honored to be here with Doug Bopst.
Doug is an ex-con, former alcoholic and opiate addict, who's habits got him locked up for a stint in jail.
Fortunately, while locked up, Doug met his cellmate, who helped him turn his life around with fitness.
When he was released Doug continued to change his life through fitness, nutrition, accountability and spirituality.
Doug is now a three time author of the books "The Heart of Recovery", "Faith, Family, Fitness", and "From Felony to Fitness to Free".
He is also the host of Adversity Advantage and a fitness coach that helps people turn trials into triumphs.
As Brody and I have a lot of empathy and alignment to pieces of his story he offers another inspirational story that addiction just isn't what they teach us. We can be better and we are able to.
We wish we had more time to talk as we just really got to share the basics but hopefully we will have him back.
Please like and share this video. We are honored to be companions on your journey.
