Wyatt Graham and Ian Clary introduce John Calvin's Institutes of Christian Religion. We discuss the historical background to the "Institutes," its title, and its purpose. We conclude that Calvin wrote the "Institutes" (or Institutio) to lead us into worship. This is the first episode that precedes a 43-week reading plan and discussion of the "Institutes."
