Adversity is inevitable, stress is optional. Adversity is what circumstances do to you. Stress is what you do to yourself. Learn and apply God’s 10 problem-solving devices and develop a FLOT line in your soul to resist pressures in life. The entrance to having a relationship with God is through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved and will enter in and find green pasture” (John 10:9). There’s no way you can produce your own righteousness; you can’t impress God by being good. “There are none that are righteous, no not one” (Is 64:6). If you’re not sure you’re going to heaven when you die, clear it up now, don’t wait. You can say, “Father, I believe in Jesus Christ and receive Him as my Savior.” It’s a simple prayer and it’s a prayer that will change you forever.
