Heather joins today with questions about her financial future and what it looks like.  She has started her own business and has 2 podcasts.  I can see that Heather has been putting in the work, but she is looking for when the pay off is coming.  

When I tap in, I see the desert that she is currently in and feeling, but then I see a hill on the horizon with lots of flowers.  I look in more that there are ideas that Heather may have, but is always coming up with ideas and reasons why not to follow through.  

I encourage her to listen to her gut because it is going to be a guiding light for her.

Alyssa joins me with questions around her career.  She just started a new job,but when she told me that I began to tap in that her new job isn’t her forever job.  This new job is opening and preparing her for her next big thing.  

Hospice comes up for Alyssa.  She tells me that she was always interested in being a hospice nurse, but she always thought she was too empathic for it.  Alyssa is going to learn through this job that this isn’t her story or experience and be able to return those emotions to the original owners.

We then transitioned to her relationship. Then to the idea of a future family (far down the line).  We explore the idea of finding a balance between career and family.  

The most important thing is you get to choose.  Nothing is ever written in stone.

Camille is looking for guidance to see if she is on the right path.  She is looking to break into something new from what she is currently doing.

Since she isn’t doing it now, some may see her as unqualified.  Camille needs to figure out how to present herself in the way she wants to be seen.  It can look like a little out of the box networking.  It may be Camille calling in to set an appointment with HR directors with ways she can support them.  Once she lands the meeting, she may shift the conversation a little with focus on what she really wants to do.  

Going out and landing the appointments or conversations can be the trickiest part since you never know how the person is going to respond.  Some people see a no as a no while others see a no as a not yet.  

I challenge anyone listening to hear the no as a not yet.  It gives you an opportunity to circle back and follow up.  Use mediation to bring down the walls that you are running into.
