Communities are becoming more aware about what they want and more importantly the needs of their own neighborhood. This is the opportunity that Jordan Breck saw and a strategy that they’ve executed with massive success. A 'shadow center' brings a collection of services and experiences that we don't see in the standard retail space. Today we'll explore MRP's success through their Walmart Shadow Anchored Acquisition Strategy, one that has Jordan cementing himself as an industry titan, spearheading MRP’s portfolio to over $350M that includes 100 Walmarts across 26 states.
Opportunities may not be one-to-one, but what if they were two to two? Being adaptive presents a way of thinking about how we can reimagine our neighborhood space, and in return improve our core strategies around them. Take it from the man who is responsible for constructing and analyzing those community investments along with developing core strategies. From single $10 properties to super chains, serving the community, and leaving a legacy behind, Jordan shares them all with us today.
