Police are slow to begin investigating her missing persons report, so Ashley’s mother Kristine sets off on an investigation of her own. During the call, she expressed concern that she was performing the Heimlich Maneuver and CPR incorrectly, fearing she might be inadvertently injuring the child. Once the toddler arrived at the ER, her body told a far different story than what Jennifer Rosenbaum had been claiming all along.

46-year-old Houston native George Floyd’s tragic death at the hands of four Minneapolis police officers galvanized a worldwide movement to end police brutality against Black men and communities of color.
