Reggae artiste, Keznamdi has won the 2026 Grammy award for best Reggae album.

He secured the win at the awards show in the United States yesterday, with his album (BLXXD) Blood and Fyah.

Culture and Entertainment Minister, Olivia Grange praised Bob Clarke during the Reggae Month church service, at Fellowship Tabernacle, in Kingston today. Mr Clarke, who was awarded the Order of Distinction in 2018 for decades of contribution to Jamaican media, died on Tuesday January 27.

One of the deceased has been identified as 58-year-old Terry Dwyer of Spanish Town, St. Catherine. Dwyer was killed in a crash along Johns Road in St. Catherine.

The murders occurred in St. Catherine, Manchester and Hanover. Dead are 23-year-old labourer, Dejaune Hamilton otherwise called John Wick, of New Hall District, 33-year-old construction worker David Brown, otherwise called Ratty, of Ellen Street Newport, 22-year-old Raheem Ward, other wise called Richie Rich and 35-year-old Adrian Reid both of Inner Street, Old England, all in Manchester.
