Well, satellite images in 2003 showed an ark-shaped object on the side of Mt. Ararat. But geologists concluded it was just a rock outcropping that appears sort-of ark-like when ice melts in the right spots.
Another popular spot in Turkey features an ark-shaped formation and one explorer even claims to have brought back artifacts. But many researchers, including Christians, have visited the site and say it’s nothing more than a geological formation—a rock.
