The town has less than 1000 people but has heavily invested in infrastructure that is already starting to attract remote and tech workers. Stanton, Iowa completed a robust fiber optic network to every home back in 2017 and now that remote work has global adoption, families are moving in says Kevin Cabbage, CEO of Farmers Mutual Telephone Company (FMTC). He also discusses their huge 3D Printer that prints livable homes and their new tech park. 

As large corporations stop requiring people to work in the office, workers are finally allowed to work from anywhere. Not everyone likes big cities with their noise, pollution, and crime. Many want to connect to nature in a smaller community with low crime and low-cost housing. Cabbage also explains its downtown overhaul, and how their investments have paid off so far: Stanton's housing options can't grow fast enough and its daycare facilities can't keep up with growing families.
