Due to breaking news surrounding Israel's attack this morning on Iran's nuclear facilities, this edition of the News Round-Up began with comment from Pastor Jim Scudder, Jr., live from Israel. He is senior pastor of Quentin Road Baptist Church in Lake Zurich, Illinois. He's an author and also the speaker on the program InGrace which airs on WVCY Television, VCY.tv the VCY America Radio Network and other facilities across the country. Jim then segued into news headlines and featured the following stories: --Worshipers at the Western Wall Plaza blow the shofar after being informed of the news regarding Israel's attack on Iran. --Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed his nation regarding the attack on Iran called, "Rising Lion." Jim provided audio of the prime minister's comments. --Hamas has recently named a veteran terrorist, Ezzedin al-Haddad, as it's latest leader in Gaza. --Iran called Israel's wave of strikes a declaration of war. --Robert Wilkie, the former U.S. Under Secretary of Defense, comments on Israel and what they feel they need to do based on their history and the "death cult" attitude of Hamas as it pertains to humanitarian aid. Other stories dealt with the immigration protests in Los Angeles and the "No Kings" rallies to take place nationwide tomorrow.
