  • Christ, A Better Bridegroom Ex 4:24-26
The sermon unpacks a difficult passage in which the Lord confronts Moses over an uncircumcised son, Gershom, and Zipporah, his mother, circumcises the child, prompting the Lord to relent from killing her husband, Moses. While acknowledging differing interpretations of who was threatened, God's covenant commands are emphasized. Tracing circumcision from Abraham through Israel's later laws, circumcision as a covenant sign involving blood is explained. Scripture ultimately points beyond outward ritual to the circumcision of the heart and genuine faith. He urges parents and believers to take God's commands seriously while emphasizing personal faith and redemption rather than reliance on religious rules or family status. The passage, points to Jesus, whose blood brings forgiveness and redemption for his people: believers need hearts changed by God and a worthy Redeemer.

  • The Only Just God and Saviour
Isaiah 45:20-25 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. 21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. 24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. 25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

  • “We Need to Fix This!” | Judges 21
When we face problems, the temptation to act immediately can lead us further from God rather than closer to a solution. Judges 21 shows Israel trying to repair the damage of a devastating civil war, but every fix they attempt creates a new problem. They pray, they sacrifice, and they make plans, yet they never stop to genuinely ask God for direction. Their story is a warning and an encouragement. God remains faithful even when we cut Him out of our decisions, preserving a remnant even in the middle of our failures. For those who are in Christ, there is no condemnation, but there are real earthly consequences when we choose our own wisdom over His. The path forward is not a better plan. It is repentance and a return to God as the foundation of every decision.

  • Victors or Victims?
God wants us to be victors, not victims, to soar and not sink, to overcome and not be overwhelmed! Whatever challenges or problems you might be facing, the difference between being a victor or victim is how we respond to the challenges we are facing. This sermon looks at one of the most familiar Old Testament stories: David and Goliath. The Challenge that Israel was facing was Goliath, a Philistine fighter who was large, loud, and life-threatening. Saul and his army were the cowards who responded with fear and with passivity, hoping that their problem (Goliath) would go away. But he didn't. The young shepherd boy, David responded with courage and faith. Faith sees the challenges as God's problem. The conflict was not between Goliath and Israel, but between Goliath and the armies of the Living God. Faith also meets the challenges armed with the promises of God. God had promised victory over Israel's enemies. The battle belongs to the Lord! Faith also faces the challenges convinced of God's faithfulness! God n the past had delivered David from the paw of the lion and the bear! David believed that God would deliver him from the "paw" of this Philistine! Believing the problem was God's, armed with the promise of God, and convinced of God's faithfulness, the faith that conquers is a faith of action! David courageously fought and killed the giant! God brought about the victory as a witness to the watching world and as encouragement to others to trust God.

  • Matthew 24꞉36 | No Man Knoweth
This sermon examines the biblical teaching that the specific day and hour of Christ's return are known only to the Father, explicitly rejecting any attempt to calculate or predict the timing of the Second Coming. By analyzing Matthew 24 and supporting passages in Mark, Acts, and 1 Thessalonians, the message emphasizes that believers are called to a state of constant vigilance and spiritual readiness rather than date-setting speculation. The preacher contrasts the error of naming a specific date with the error of assuming the Lord is delayed, urging the church to live as sober witnesses in the present age. The discussion further distinguishes the church's role from Israel's prophetic timeline, noting that the tribulation is a period of judgment for the nation of Israel, while the church is appointed to obtain salvation and avoid wrath. Ultimately, the sermon calls for a life of active faith and evangelism, trusting in God's patience and the certainty of Christ's imminent return.

  • The Word in Your Mouth and Heart
After using Hosea and Isaiah to make his argument, Paul now moves on to Moses. He starts by restating the Old Covenant that Israel made at Mt. Sinai which was that if you do everything in the law, you will be saved and contrasts that with what Moses says about faith. Faith causes a shift, so it is not your work. You do not think that you or men need to drag the word down from heaven so it is accessible. You or men do not need to bring the word up from the deep, so you can have access to it. Salvation by faith is believing that God sent His Word to us so it is near us and in our mouths and in our hearts. Those are the words of faith rather than salvation by works. Which leads to you need to profess with your tongue the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. You need to understand that Christ is with you and in you in order to be saved.

  • “Some Baptisty Reformation Questions and Answers” (Various)
This message examines five questions, including the theological and historical distinctions that define a Reformed Baptist church, tracing its roots to the Particular Baptists and the London Confessions of Faith. It identifies key markers such as the doctrines of grace, believer's baptism by immersion, and congregational autonomy, while clarifying that the local church remains under the final authority of Christ and Scripture. The discussion addresses the compatibility of Reformed confessional standards with dispensational eschatology. It critiques modern interpretations of congregationalism as mere democracy, advocating instead for a historic model of elder plurality and oversight. Ultimately, it presents a nuanced view of Baptist identity that honors Reformed heritage while maintaining specific convictions on the relationship between Israel and the Church. The questions: 1. What Makes a Reformed Baptist Church? 2. Are We a Reformed Baptist Church? 3. Is the 1689 Compatible with Reformed or "Leaky" Dispensationalism? 4. What Is Congregationalism? 5. What Role Have Pastors/Elders Had Historically in Baptist Churches?
