This Saturday morning, Dr. Chris White, Professor of the History department at Marshall University is in conversation with two guests to bring us varied perspectives on the ongoing conflict that is ripping apart parts of the Middle East. How do the two sides view this ongoing humanitarian crisis that has claimed over 2000 innocent lives and displaced more than tens of thousands people? As responsible academics, we made the conscious choice to provide our listeners with both sides to the story, without our biases at play. Our podcasts were recorded in the past week, so the events as they are unfolding may not be up to date, but the ethos with which we recorded these episodes still remains the same. 

In the second episode, Dr. White is joined by Dr. Amine Oudghiri-Otmani, Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Marshall University. Originally from Morocco, today he gives us a perspective from the Arab World on the current war in Israel and Gaza.
