It Can’t Be That Bad

Mr. Baltazar and Mr. Middleton reflect on the 1991 classic, Hook, starring Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, Maggie Scott, Julia Roberts and Rufio.... we mean, Dante Basco. We all love this one so why on Earth is it 26% on Rotten Tomatoes! Alejandro and Christian break down the subtle nuances of Robin Williams' impeccable acting. Christian talks about his favorite Lost Boy (it’s not Rufio... like seriously Christian, WTF). And Alejandro talks about metaphorical forks in the road that can change lives. Christian challenges Alejandro to a battle of wits but comes up a tad short.

The cutie patooties tackle their first ICBTB exclusive (that means we get to watch and review the movie prior to its actual release!) in this episode and watch The Boonies (2019) starring Calum Worthy, Cody Ko, Andi Matichak, Kyle Jones, Lauren Elizabeth, and Amy Marie Gaertner. Christian loses a spelling bee and cries in front of everyone. They talk throw-up-in-hat Cowboys versus throw-up-in-boot-cowboys. Alejandro tells a ghost story whilst not believing in ghosts. Christian leads a group of friends out of a sticky situation. The boys sign off with another hit single.

For the Halloween Special, Christian and Alejandro are joined by good friend, talented photographer and videographer, Christopher Perry. Together, the boys defend Pinocchio's Revenge (1996) starring Candace McKenzie, Rosalind Allen, Matisse, Lewis Van Bergen and Verne Troyer as Pinocchio. Christian and Chris decide to switch homes. The dudes discuss how much their hashtags are worth. They break down edited nude scenes on YouTube and whether or not fat comedians are still funny if they lose weight. They talk landing strips, Robo-Jules, and tight leggings in the winter. The boys finally rap battle each other. Juliet and Otis sit on the couch during the episode.

The dapper dudes defend Jennifer's Body (2009), starring Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Brody, J.K. Simmons, Chris Pratt and Johnny Simmons. They talk whether or not side boob is real boob and review Alejandro's high school fashion sense. Christian uses his Chrysler Sebring to hit on girls and does a fine impersonation of Alejandro. Chris Perry wants to give the boys his Bowflex. The duo reminisce upon their first time putting on condoms and talk about how Christian loves family parties.

“Chris Chin” and “Ollie Wants Dro” take a stab at the slasher, Freddy vs. Jason (2003), starring Robert Englund, Monica Keena, Ken Kirzinger, Kelly Rowland (that’s right, from Destiny’s Child), and Chris Marquette. They play the game, Marry, F*ck, Kill, but it’s not that fun. The boys come to an agreement that all boobs are tens. ALL BOOBS. Alejandro likes to mute horror movies during the scary parts and Christian wants Freddy blades on each of his toes.

Christian and Alejandro peel back the layers of the rom-com, Going the Distance (2010), starring Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, Christina Applegate, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis. For such a funny movie, they take a serious turn on this episode. The boys figure out that this film about a long distance relationship parallels Alejandro’s last relationship. They ask each other “first date” questions and Christian pulls out some deep emotions from Alejandro. In return Christian gets a rare thank you from Alejandro.
