  • #51 Tell me your story- Krisanna Sexton and Dana Croschere - LOVE HEALS the Movie .

Krisanna Sexton is a filmmaker who has passionately produced content since 16. She believes in the power of storytelling and pours her heart and soul into each story she has the privilege of sharing. As an independent filmmaker, she can craft stories in a way that reflects her heart of love and compassion for the person on the other side of the lens.
Dana Croschere is not only a producer for LOVE HEALS but is featured as the main character in the film. Dana's journey is inspirational, full of many obstacles, including two unsuccessful spine surgeries in 2020. Yet, while still feeling chronic pain daily, Dana has been able to harness the power of her mind to accomplish things she once thought impossible by practicing the ancient mind-body techniques featured in the film. As a result, she now greets each day with a smile as she works hard to spread the message of LOVE HEALS.
Krisanna tells the story of how she was selected to create this film and how I became the protagonist. They talk about the lessons they learned while making the film, their plans for LOVE HEALS, and why they selected Sedona Mago as the place to host the Water Up Fire Down retreat.

I have covered many topics about health in this series of podcasts. However, what I love about Kristen and Dana's story is that they utilize the whole body, mind spirit aspect of health to heal.
Although I have touched upon this in my podcasts, their film explains what a crucial component this is to healing.
The film is amazing. I cried through part of it. It touched my heart. It just played again last weekend and will play again sometime soon. You will need to buy a ticket to watch it, but it's the best $15 YOU will spend for your health and your healing in a long time. I will post again here on my pages when you can access their movie again.
You can also follow them at the Facebook link above.
Please watch this interview. It might just be your missing puzzle piece for health.
Again this is something you can do for yourself with no one's permission that might make all the difference in your health. What a gift!
Krisanna and Dana are beyond excited to share that LOVE HEALS is an Official Selection of the Sedona 2022 ILLUMINATE Film Festival!

  • #30 Tell me your story-James and Mason Richard - BIZI with Crohn's

Bizi Vitamin Honey was founded in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2020 by James Richard and Ethan Akdamar. The idea for vitamin-infused honey had come from James' brother, who was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2016. With Crohn's inhibiting Mason's diet, he had to turn to vitamin supplements. Unfortunately, many supplements had unnecessary ingredients that did more harm than good. To relieve Mason's symptoms of Crohn's, he went on a specific carbohydrate diet. During this diet, he had no sweeteners except for honey. James and Ethan infused the pure vitamin with the honey to make it easier for Mason to get the needed nutrients.
At Bizi, our Vitamin Honey is made with 100% raw USA honey. They infuse 100% raw USA honey with select USP-grade certified vitamins. They currently have Vitamin Honey sticks and Jars with e a vitamin B complex, a vitamin C blend, or a vitamin D3 blend.

        • [Encore] The Importance of Releasing Stress

I think most of us are aware that stress can damage our health. As a business owner, however, I thought it was also propelling me forward and helping me get more accomplished.

As humans we developed the stress mechanism in order to respond to danger in the wild. If we encountered a tiger when we were out foraging for food, our adrenaline and cortisol went into high gear, moving blood to our brains and our muscles so that we could remove ourselves quickly from the danger. Chronic Stress is a contributor to "leaky gut" which is the root cause of chronic disease, which includes cancer, heart disease and autoimmune diseases.

Not all stress is harmful. Stress that becomes chronic becomes dangerous. I didn't realize, it was also hindering, not helping, my productivity. Recovery from chronic stress is not negotiable, you can make time to rest and rejuvenate now or make time to be sick and injured later.

        • Tell Me Your Story Joe Cross Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead

I am thrilled to share my interview with Joe Cross with you today. When I first got sick, back in 2012, I went on a hunt for answers. Joe Cross had just become a phenomenon with his first movie Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, and it made a huge impression on me.

Joe too was suffering from an autoimmune disease. In the movie, he was traveling across the United States and juicing from the back of his car. If he could juice in the middle of a farm in Kansas, I could figure out to eat healthy fruits and vegetables 24/7.

Joe is a globally recognized nutrition advocate, thought leader, author and filmmaker who created a lifestyle revolution around the simple concept of juicing. He produced and starred in the award-winning documentary film "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead," which has been seen by more than 30 million people worldwide and is largely responsible for introducing them to drink (and eat) something green.

He is also a New Times Best-selling author. Joe lives in Sydney, Australia.

This is the third podcast in my series on organic and quality food and how to afford it. I give more ways to cut down on food waste, and to save money so that you DO have enough in your budget to pay attention to quality.

You can cook, you can eat whole foods, you can feed your body health. And this is one of the most important things you can do for your own longevity.

Stop eating all those ingredients that you have no clue what they are, because your body doesn't have a clue as to what to do with them.
