  • A conversation with Corey Lewandowski - an advisor to President Trump

    Send us Fan Mail

Corey R. Lewandowski is an American political operative, lobbyist, political commentator and author who is politically associated with Donald Trump. He was the first campaign manager of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.  He is now a paid member of the Trump campaign advisory team.

More personally, Lewandowski is frequent contributor to my morning show.  Over the last five years, Corey and I have developed a friendship based on our mutual love of America and Americans.  We both believe that President Donald Trump is the right person to lead our nation, again, and restore American idealism while focusing on the freedom, prosperity and security of our nation and its people.

This is a wide-ranging discussion, covering a vast array of issues.  I hope you enjoy this romp through the effort to make America great again.

  • A conversation with Claude Berube, USNR(retired), Author, Professor and so much more

    Send us Fan Mail

I have known Claude Berube for 19 years.  He is a valued contributor to my morning talk show.  I continue to appreciate his thinking on many of the important issues facing our nation and the world.

    From his twitter bio:
Historian, USNA History prof, novelist; USNR (Ret); former host Preble Hall naval history pod; Trekkie; political independent; views own not USG

As usual, his humble nature overwhelms his bio.  Claude has taught at the United States Naval Academy for close to twenty years.  He worked on Capitol Hill on the staffs of Maine Senators George Mitchell and Susan Collins.

During his service in the Navy, Claude was deployed to some of the world's great hot spots.  In other words, he has accomplished a lot in the time that God has given him on the planet ... with a lot more to do.

Today's podcast was a wide ranging conversation on a number of topics.

  • A follow up discussion about the 300 year old farm, national popular vote compact and how the two are related

    Send us Fan Mail

On April 2nd, my podcast was essentially about the theft of the Knight Family Farms land by the Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA).  I spoke with Warren Knight and got an update from him about the status of the MTA effort.

In edition, I included a follow up on the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact that passed both the Maine House and the Maine Senate. That bill is now on its way to Governor Mills' desk to be signed into law, vetoed, or allowed to become law without the Governor's signature.

Although the two issues do not seem to have a lot in common, they actually do.

Please give me your feedback at [email protected] or text me on my text line 207-409-6172

Thank you, as always, for listening

  • A 300 year old Maine business & the theft of their land by the Maine Turnpike Authority

    Send us Fan Mail

Smiling Hill Farm in Westbrook Maine started in the 1720s.  They began 56 years before the Declaration of Independence.

Through thirteen generations, through war, financial hardship, global depressions, weather anomalies and anything else you can think of, the Knight family has found a way to endure, persevere and thrive.  Yet, their greatest potential threat is not one of the above.

Their greatest potential threat comes from their own government.  The Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA) seeks to steal their land to build a road.

Oh, I know, they call it eminent domain which sounds all legal and lawyerly, but the truth is ... it is theft.  The Knight family does not want to sell the land.

I guess the real question is, what do Maine people actually value?  Will you stand with this family and tell the MTA "No, you cannot do this!"

If not now, when?  What will it take for Maine people to stand up to their government?

If we don't stop this, what is next?  If we don't stop this, eventually, there will be nothing left to save!

The Public Interest Legal Foundation recently sued, successfully, the Maine Secretary of State's office over a lack of transparency regarding Maine's voter information.  PILF charged that Maine was not compliant with Federal law.

PILF won the initial case and then prevailed upon appeal.  We walked through what this means and what are some of the anomalies PILF has uncovered with their work.
