It was turnaround Tuesday with a reversal of sentiment in the gold and the USD helping to drive down the market this afternoon after a strong open. The materials sector led the gains thanks to the iron ore miners - FMG (up 3.18%), BHP (up 1.7%) and RIO (up 1.2%).
