Our first episode sees Lucy and James visit Italy in the company of travel writer Toni DeBella, joining us from her home in Orvieto, a historic medieval town in Umbria. They discuss the country's unique character (including the dolce far niente – 'the sweetness of doing nothing'), must-sees for first time visitors and Toni's own relationship with Italy, having moved there in 2012. We also discuss how both Italy and Toni reacted to the country's coronavirus outbreak and how travellers are now starting to return safely.
